Can we PLEASE normalize men approaching women again? Like... where are all the confident, respectful, emotionally mature men? Why doesn't anybody just come talk to me anymore? He could be ANYWHERE, totally hiding waiting to murder me because I didn't immediately add his number to my phone. Totally normal behavior. Last week a guy held the door open for me. Why? What was his endgame? Trapping me inside the building so he could steal my kidneys to organ thieves? No thanks! Another smiled at me while I was walking my dog. My dog. So now he knows I have a dog. And how long have they had those jobs? Typically, people who have a stable job in their late 40s or early to mid 50s, had that job since they were 30, maybe 25. It could also be that they have been in an industry since their early 20s, which helps later in life. As for me, I just recently got turned down for a dishwashing job. Dishwashing. As in, washing dishes; a job that literally requires no fucking skill.
