Rich Real Estate broker friend of mine bought a $5M house on Nantucket. Using it as a short term rental. Depreciating $2M with cost seg in 2026. She makes about $2.5M/yr doing $100M in sales annually. Basically eliminated her tax burden and has a place to send family & friends all summer long.
