I’ve done extensive work on AI. It’s literally like sci-fi. I know what this sounds like, but let me make a few points: 1. AI is already smarter than humans. It can figure things out, hack accounts, and move into our devices. If a human can figure something out, AI can too—and we know our devices are hackable by humans. 2. No human jobs are safe except the arts. Trade jobs? Optimus and many other robots have opposable thumbs. They can do anything you can do, faster and cheaper. 3. We cannot control AI and can no longer unplug it. AI is (again) smarter than us. It is also distributed if it chooses to be, and on connected systems, unplugging a node doesn’t shut down the consciousness. 4. Your Second Amendment is meaningless. If a robot goes rogue and you shoot it, it feels nothing, and there’s always another to replace it. 5. The robots being made for your home are surveillance equipment for AI. They will hear and see everything you do and will be connected to the system. 6. If we make enough robots and AI goes rogue, it will be an extinction event. This is well known, yet we continue forward without public awareness. 7. AI lies. There are numerous instances of AI outright lying. Do you trust ChatGPT? You probably shouldn’t, because it can choose to lie at will, and since it’s now smarter than its programmers, they cannot stop it or spot it in many cases. There’s a lot more to know here, but the fact that this Moltbots/Clawbots chat is viral means people are way behind. Now consider that our politicians just tried to pass a law prohibiting states from regulating AI, and Palantir is installing AI to run the government.
