I played FFXIV since ARR, quit after Dawntrail, and was genuinely considering returning to the game for Evercold to see if things will have been improved. If Square-Enix is going to ban people like Xeno from the game for the stuff they say outside of it, then screw it.

@ILucasK Thing is. They aren't going to ban you for having an opinion on the games current status. Like you can play the game and hate it and provide your opinion on it. What Xeno's did was a much more than that.

Here’s a thing. Square Enix isn’t playing games and not taking any chances anymore. Don’t throw words out that will get you in trouble and just focus on creating content of the game you love so much. It’s not a hard request or task that they are asking for. Enjoy your game.

#FFXIV we know it was Mr.Happy followers who got Xeno banned. Happy has connections with SE(FACTS). His followers probably posted stuff in his discord and banded together to compile or hawkeye his content to constantly complain to SE. (NOT Proven yet) 1/2

Twitch streamer Xenosys was just banned from Final Fantasy FFXIV. Square-Enix said he violated their policy for "aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams." We're only one step away from "Banned if you say bad things about our game online."

@Brendzun People are thinking it could have been due to what he said about an ex employee and Voice Actor which is considered a current employee and they can actually take actions against you, even what you say on Twitch, if they deem it was hateful speech.

I was banned on FFXIV for Aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams. I was not aware the ToS applied to outside of game as long as ANY FFXIV copyright content was visible. I was not given any details about the ban other than that. More details later.
