@Todd_Garner That’s a shame because I actually think it’s one of the best scenes in the film. Buscemi was superb in that scene!

Fun fact: the scene with Garland and the little girl was 6 minutes long in the original cut. When we previewed it a woman stood up during the scene, looked back where we were sitting and yelled, “Why are you doing this to us?!” We trimmed it down.

You know why CGI in movies looks bad even though they spend hundreds of millions with infinitely better tech? After 15 years of digital cinematography that takes no skill to shoot, we have a new generation of filmmakers and artists that think flat lighting is the new normal.

I'm not really able to choose between the Cage action trilogy. I think Face/Off is the better movie, but I find Con Air more rewatchable.

@RetroMoviesDB I love the industrial, lived-in future of this film! In a lot of ways, it’s like how ALIEN and ALIENS looked, stylistically. One of my favorite underrated sci-fi films, along with Hyams’ 2010 as well!

Next, the search for our ship's Enforcer/Warrior begins! But first we must link Pilot to the Enterprise-D via a neural graft cradle on the bridge. Bio-neural and gel-pack filaments spliced directly into his nerve tendrils will ensure that Pilot can literally feel the ship.

@BenMank77 Movies will never die because art itself never dies. People still paint, sculpt, draw, write, compose, dance, etc. Films will always be around!

Ratings for the NBA Finals have been similarly cut in half in a decade: 20.2 million in 2016 to 10.2 million in 2025. The NBA is not on its deathbed. These changes have far more to do w/ how we watch TV (and declining cable subscribers) than anything like the death of movies.

@IGNDeals God Emperor of Dune will never happen, sadly. Hollywood would never make a film about a 3,000-year-old giant worm tyrant. And imagine Jason Momoa having to basically do a MICKEY 17/Weyoun routine the whole film.

We are one Dune movie closer to seeing this adapted for the big screen.
