Saw Project Hail Mary last night. It was a very good movie, but I left feeling meh. It had so much more potential, could have been a great movie with a couple minor changes. It was disappointing.

Who will pay to rehouse the people you’ll have to evict for this to happen? Cuba doesn’t have the money. Are we going to pay for that or just put the current residents on the street? They aren’t the ones who confiscated the property. They’re the ones who stayed in Cuba while the prior owners ran away. It’s not as simple as it looks.

@soldiersystems There is a shaky lineage though, the XM8 later evolves into the G36, and the H&K 416 used lessons from that program. Those 416 engineers go to SIG, make the 516, which evolves into the MCX line, which brings us to the MCX Spear which becomes the M7 which leads us to the XM8.

Me, I've been happy with Holosun's EPS line (Carry and Full), and if you have something that can take a DPP optic, the SCS-P320 is great.

Ok, so I carry IWB sometimes but mostly in a bag. My red dot constantly gets filled up with like static lint junk. I am contemplating a closed box optic for my carry piece. Are any of them good? The Steiner? I want rugged, metal, waterproof, with a big sight window. Suggestions?
