people (probably intentionally) misinterpreting this. the point is not to put people down, if you are in the top 50% you should be proud of that, and if you're in the bottom 50% you shouldn't be ashamed. but percentiles like how deadlock does ranks just isnt how skill works, in deadlock, in gaming, in any skill ever.
deadlocks original rank system was too rigid, causing people to clump up and no one could move anywhere, but as its in alpha and rank isnt their priority, they switched it to a percentile based system as a temporary fix. but look at any other game, the majority of players are gonna be in the bronze silver gold or equivalent.
the percentile gap between initiate and archon may be enough to justify 7 ranks (42 subranks) but skill wise its just not
on the flipside the percentile gap between a top 10 and a top 200 (or whatever the bottom of e6 is) is plenty small to justify one rank, but skill wise theres still a massive gap.

Cnd was never an anti dive support til she got the Luna team up. Infact, WF is the ONLY support designed to stop dive and its why her cooldowns are so high and you can bait them out. It's why her ult isn't a fat healing of 200+ perseond and is USELESS into poke

I think dps mains really don’t understand each strategists core gameplay and what they excel at, once they figure that out and start counter playing, no backline is strong enough. Ex/ they will see a CnD, WF and still go spiderman or dive, then complain…

@MizusPuddle Nah you're just wrong. AI comes off as cheap when it's detected. Companies aren't not using it in ads cause of morale reasons but because it comes off as cheap in the eyes of the consumer. If they could use it without losing sales they 1000% would.

What's really funny about this, is he's giving a "class" on this and he's historically always been wrong.
"I think they'll be rejected by the viewers." OK that's a cute thought, but they're not. In fact they're so overwhelming popular that the only way to stop them is artifical limits in the algorithm itself (which seems to get more false positives then anything)
This is the same guy who said he could make a new YouTube channel successful with his knowledge, only to completely fail so hard he had to start using his money and connections to try and salvage it, and even that didn't work.
He got where he is by pure chance and has absolutely no idea how to replicate it.

@Danminal @LudwigAhgren I would under no circumstances emulate ludwig's pay structure. He is in a unique position where his sponsorship payout per view is top 1 in the industry. And frankly, if he had enough flops in a row he'd still go bankrupt. % earnings of video revenue is the way to go.

I just want to say thank you to @LudwigAhgren for showing appreciation for editors earlier today during his conversation with Yusuf about how he "sold the bag" while severely underpaying his editor.
As an editor myself, it was genuinely refreshing to hear someone with such a large platform acknowledge the value that editors bring.

@thebambiethug Hulk in B is crazy. I think he's top of S, his bhop is by far the most important of any character to know and also the hardest to do.
They removed the thing that made Cap hard: his animation cancel was unique cause the timing wasn't consistent but based on distance.

@MS06ZAKU_II @iheartsleepy It's not. On 250 they're both 80 dmg. You lose sustain, range, aoe. The only thing m1 has is you can animation cancel the first punch to do immediate damage to someone to finish them off faster than the m2 does it's initial damage. But over time it's the same DPS on 250.

M1 is ONLY good for doing 40 dmg in situations where the slight delay of the m2 would let someone live+there's no risk of missing + no need for extra sustain+single target.

Triple support is not an issue. The real issue is how PERFECTLY you have to play to beat it. It allows for players to make an infinite amount of mistakes and still not do badly. 102 New team ups and we end up in a triple support meta AGAIN. The new team-ups have made this worse if anything with the ultimate charge nerfs being the drawback to all the insanely strong support team ups so triple isn’t oppressive. But we hot-fixed the only draw-back. Again triple support is not the issue it is just how forgiving it is to play and now each support has a new ability that makes it even more forgiving. I hope we see another hot-fix very soon.
