There are now 3x more unicorns in Europe than there were 9 years ago. Today there are 413 unicorns across the continent vs 127 at the end of 2016. There's a lot more to be done in Europe to create the best possible environment for startups but we are definitely on our way. There's a very real chance that the work that @andreasklinger and @euinc_petition have done will go through. And if the tech ecosystem can advance this much in the past 9 years JUST IMAGINE what can be done in the next 9 years if we fix the underlying issues.

Maybe the reason you’re having to always learn “the new stuff” to keep up, is because you’re not the one doing the envisioning, the creating, the truly new.
