GrowPro article on fertilizer investment by @fieldirt - most of the time micronutrients are not needed on the entire field - example Copper. Why would we apply copper on soil types that are sufficient? Waste of $! @swatmaps

@TEVAchrisk We also don’t really have a subsoil critical level for either nutrient in NA. But something I think we might need to be taking a closer look at.

@CropProHana Be careful with those sample depth calcs. 1 ppm will not = 2 lb/ac. For 8" depth it's ppm × 2.67. For the 16" it's × 5.33. K is closer than you think. P does drop off at depth. Probably higher bicarbonates down there where S is high.

Taking a look at P and K stratification. Adequate levels in the top 0-8” but very low 8-24”. How substantial of an effect does this have? #swatmaps

@Swatmaps #swatcam insights: This time of year have to know what you're looking at with satellite NDVI. For this example using sat NDVI for a crop Rx would be unwise. #swatcam quantifies crop independent of weeds.
