Controversial take, and obviously some of this comes from just being a Reds fan and having so little actually invested in the playoffs in, really, my entire lifetime.
I enjoy the WBC more than the World Series.

-Burns and Lowder make the rotation.
-Reds keep Williamson for a “bullpen spot” and piggyback him for multi inning stints behind Burns.
-Phillips and Moll get other 2 pen spots.
-Lowe & Benson win final 2 bench spots.

The reason I felt DeVries needed to make the tournament in year 1 was program momentum and proof of concept
Because of the way he built the roster, we have no program momentum and no proof of concept, and now he has to do it all over again with no building blocks and no culture. Just a program completely stuck in the mud #iubb
