How is this any different than Ajay Mitchell’s flagrant foul on Castle in Game 3? Not even a basketball play. Just a straight-up dangerous shove on Williams. Yet you don’t see the same outrage or consequences

• Almost EVERYBODY involved in the Luka trade has been fired/traded
• Still have Kyrie, who LD said was his favorite teammate ever
• Still have most of the core from the Finals team
• Now have Cooper Flagg, a superstar running mate for the future
• Luka still has his Dallas house
• New GM respects him as a player and a man
• Lakers appear to be content with a mediocre roster

@ChrisLo46165313 @JaredWeissNBA That is certainly possible! I just don't think it's likely with San Antonio. I remember Duncan wanted to play in the 2000 playoffs, but Pop decided against that. Different player and coach, but, from everything I've heard, the org still runs the same.

@CrossxBeau @JaredWeissNBA But don't you think that this being a playoff game that their judgement might sway a little? I'm all for winning or losing against the best players. Being on a jet 48hrs after a very obvious concussion, doesn't make sense.

@ChrisLo46165313 @JaredWeissNBA They've always erred on the side of caution with Wemby. If they had any concerns at all, or if he didn't pass concussion protocol, they would absolutely not play him.

@JaredWeissNBA They're scared they will lose to Portland. They sell look the other way on his health just to make sure they win. Normally it's 9-11 days after a true concussion. Flying in a plane is UNHEARD OF this quickly as well. It's unbelievable.

@JeffGSpursZone The irony here is that the Spurs are built with the "marathon" mentality. When they drafted Wemby, they knew it would take a few years for them to be contenders. They passed on Giannis, Durant, and possibly Trae Young which would be more "sprinty" like he's alluding.

@okcn17 @WEMBYSPUR1 @Bdrumm_Rivals Kornet and Barnes are NBA champions. Wemby is an LNB Elite champion. Steph Castle won it all with UConn. Even though the younger guys might not have NBA playoff experience, they definitely have experience playing in high stakes basketball games.

Spurs having a hard time finding a suitor for Sochan. Same story as last summer. Not willing to attach draft capital to move him. Could still happen, maybe someone blinks closer to tomorrow's deadline. Could also be a buyout candidate.

@JaeeYT I understand people who would feel this way. Spurs may feel this way too.
I'd much prefer his first game back to be in a less taxing environment against a team that won't make him work so hard.

No new info on this, but if it were me I'd have reservations about letting Vic play his first game in a month against those bunch of monsters from OKC.
I'd rather ease him into his return at home vs. Wiz.
But that's just me, a notorious party pooper.
