Just a reminder: CI Games was forced into the public gaming debate by selected media outlets over one simple paragraph in early January 2025. On January 8, 2025, in an investor call with Polish investors, Ryan Hill said: “We remain committed to producing player-first video games that prioritise an excellent user experience with compelling thematics and characters created specifically for core and adjacent audiences. While some video games have recently taken the opportunity to embed social or political agendas within their experiences, it is clear that many players do not appreciate this… we will not be integrating any social or political agendas into these experiences going forward.” That statement was immediately reframed as anti-DEI and even transphobic by outlets like PC Gamer (“fear of the DEI boogeyman”), Rock Paper Shotgun, Eurogamer, TheGamer and others. Saying we do not want to embed political or social agendas into our games is not the same as opposing diversity or inclusion. I am immensely proud of our NATURALLY diverse workforce — all of whom earned their place through skill, creativity, and expertise. The media continuously forces us into the spotlight, but we refuse to stay silent. I went straight to our community with a clear poll: In a medieval fantasy action-RPG, do you prefer Body Type A/B or Male/Female? The results were overwhelming — Male/Female won by a massive margin (88% of the ~49.5k votes). This extremely strong community feedback only strengthened our Players First mission. Lords of the Fallen II is being made for the soulslike community. It is a video game. Not a political statement.

Google is reducing the default free storage for new accounts from 15GB to 5GB. New users signing up for a Google account now start with only 5GB of shared storage across Gmail, Drive, and Photos. To unlock the full 15GB that has been the standard for years, users must verify their account with a phone number during signup. Existing accounts are completely unaffected and continue to receive the original 15GB This change is currently a limited test in select regions and Google says its to prevent storage abuse and ``stronger account security and easier data recovery´´ During setup, users can choose to skip phone verification and keep the 5GB limit if they prefer.

@denisyurchak @OpenAI Polish is a crazy language. From fonts, to structure, to being highly context dependent (when it comes yo translations). It is very hard to work with, if the product hasn't been initially developed with Polish in mind and a lot of classic translation workflows will cause mistakes

@splashxo__ I dont see how slide is "so stupid" whilst we have acc on ropes too. Do I think accuracy on slide should be increased (something around Shift spread)? Yes. Do I think being on ropes should always give you jumping acc? Yes. Youre floating

My main issue with the Neon nerf is that it didn't even touch the most egregious part of her kit that everyone complains about, being the Neon slide itself. The ability to pull your gun out and shoot while sliding and have accuracy is just not something that belongs in Valorant. I do not understand the logic in nerfing the airstrafing and bunnyhopping (where she is unable to take out her gun while doing that) and not the ability to pull ur gun out mid-slide and one-tap someone while moving. Also not nerfing her Ult at all when that could have also been an option is something that the community has been wanting changed for awhile.

@clementCL16 @ShepRooman @YmyroWithEgo 2/2 my understanding is that the character can no longer be good at many things when in the right hands. You either will have to commit to full dps which is waaay harder or heal bot which you can do on any character. It is kind of pointless to just play kiri besides farming playt

That could be the fun factor, the noticeable skill gap between the "Joe" and kiri wizard lizards, something could be just straight up be OP. I dont play OW nearly as much as I used to, but 1/2

@clementCL16 @ShepRooman @YmyroWithEgo The difference between an actually good kiri and a random mediocre Joe playing her has drastically shrunk, because the character itself no longer has the ability to actually deliver something substantial when played by someone with extensive knowledge and practice on her.
