@DarkLord_gr Yeah it was isolated and I probably put the Stop lost too close... I'm not used to this kind of operation so I paid for the lesson haha

With 3x maybe you need to place the SL closer at the liquidation price? The price moved around 10% today so it shouldn't get liquidated.. or maybe you used isolated with not enough collateral? I always try to have a big buffer and give room for the price to move around. Anyway new tools are coming to automate funding rates arb so looking forward for such automations

Day 147 — War day 24. Trump announced "very good and productive conversations" with Tehran and postponed strikes on Iranian power plants for 5 days. Crypto and stocks jumped. Oil dropped. Markets partied. Then Iran's foreign ministry said there were "no negotiations and no dialogue" with Washington. Trump said Iran's communications are destabilized. Someone is lying. Either way we got 5 days of breathing room. The market confirmed it believes the US is serious about ending this. Markets loved the news. $BTC pushed to $71k. Gold dropped hard. $BTC is starting to show relative strength against gold for the first time in 8 months. Tom Lee's Bitmine bought 65,341 $ETH worth $138M this week. Institutions are not leaving. They're accumulating while everyone else panics. Now my day. Honestly a pretty good one considering how chaotic things have been. @boros_fi Wallet 1: $ETH short on Binance super volatile the last 2 settlements I paid since rates spiked today. $XRP opened to hedge the long leg on my $XRP strategy (Long at @HyperliquidX & Short @Kinetic_Markets ). @boros_fi Wallet 2: $HYPE locked at 10.95%. Almost at +40% profit. This one has been a rock while everything else was bleeding. Longed OIL but rates flipped negative immediately after I entered. Classic 😂. Holding for the reversal. Trading Account: Good day here too. $OIL hit almost all my DCA-out orders then got force closed to cover liquidations of other positions. Walked away with $200 profit from shorting oil. $HYPE position just turned green. $SOL sitting at +33%. Not touching it, DCA-out orders will do the work. The more the volatility the more I get paid! @Lighter_xyz closed my $SOL long and locked another $200. Placed new DCA-in orders lower in case the market drops again. Now the embarrassing part. Found a forgotten position at JLP/JupUSD I completely missed for weeks. Some funds got liquidated. Lost $17. Stupid. No other word for it. Lowered the leverage immediately so it survives future drops. Write that one down as a lesson in position management. LPs: Still quietly printing. Nothing changed. Boring is good. Wisdom of the day: The market doesn't care about your feelings. But it will always reward your patience eventually. That's it for today. Stop trading candles. Start trading the spread. 🥂 DarkLord_gr Out.

@Croxaki Lower the leverage and always place SL before the liquidation don't give extra money to the exchanges. What about the long leg it got liquidated? And I always say DCA IN DCA OUT I know you opened for a hedge but I guess you overdid it with the leverage?

As fun as it is to monitor the situation and play macro, don't forget you can simply buy value, log off and not entertain the TACO/not TACO mental illness. In this case I still think BTC in the 60s sets you up very well for the coming few years, with the set up for Bitcoin being stronger than ever.

Day 146 — War day 23. Trump just gave Iran a 48 hour ultimatum. "If the Strait of Hormuz isn't fully reopened, the US will obliterate Iranian power plants. Starting with the biggest one first." Iran's response: "We'll close it permanently and target all energy infrastructure linked to the US and Israel across the region." Iranian missiles struck Dimona and Arad in southern Israel, near Israel's main nuclear research facility. First time that happened in this war. Leaders from 22 countries including the UK, France, Germany and Japan released a joint statement condemning Iran's closure of the Strait. $299M in crypto liquidations hit when the ultimatum dropped. 85% were longs. I hope peace prevails. Genuinely. $BTC dropped to $68,500 after the ultimatum then recovered to $70,500. Fear and Greed Index at 12. Extreme fear. $BTC has been tested at $70k four times in the past 10 days. Watch $65,800 as the line in the sand — if that breaks, bears take control. Bitcoin miners are currently losing $19,000 per BTC produced. Either price goes up or inefficient miners capitulate. Both outcomes are bullish long term. Resolv got exploited today. Let's talk about what that means for you. An attacker used $200,000 in USDC to mint 80 million unbacked USR tokens through a flaw in the minting contract. $25 million extracted. USR dropped to $0.14. Protocol paused. Euler, Venus, Morpho and Fluid all rushing to isolate exposure. Resolv used delta-neutral strategies based on $ETH and $BTC to generate yield. The yield was real. The mechanic was sound. But if you didn't understand exactly how USR was minted, exactly what the minting function validated and exactly what happened if that validation failed, the average user had no way to see this coming. This is the point I keep making in my posts about stablecoins. If you can't explain in one sentence where the yield comes from and what breaks the peg, you have no business parking money there. "High yield delta neutral stablecoin" is not an explanation. It's a marketing line. The safer path is simpler than people think. Funding rate arbitrage. You know exactly who pays you — leveraged traders on the other side of your position. No minting mechanics. No oracle dependencies. No contract logic that can be bypassed. And with @boros_fi on top of that you lock the rate before volatility hits. The yield is smaller than a 20% stablecoin promise. That's the point!!. Smaller yield with understood risk beats larger yield with hidden risk every single time. DYOR is not a disclaimer. It's the only real risk management tool you have. Now my day: @boros_fi Wallet 1: $ETH short on Binance finally turned green. DCA-out limit hit, reopened and placed another one lower. Everything else is red so funding rates should follow lower for at least 1-2 days. Positioning accordingly. @boros_fi Wallet 2: $HYPE printing well, +33% profit mostly from rate settlements. That's locked gains. $XAG short opened when I spotted rates dropping, entered at 19.95%, rates dropped to 4.52% after a few hours. Most of the profit is uPnL but the market expires in 4 days so I'm leaving it to settle. Also placed limit orders to farm Pendle rewards while I wait. Trading Account i want you focused here!!: All positions red. No worries. More DCA-in orders below mitigate the volatility and give the market room to move. This is the hardest part that most do not understand, staying calm, sticking to the plan, not panic closing. I always scale in and scale out. Never all-in, never all-out. Picture attached so you can see how the position ladder looks. Also opened a $FLUID position. Price dropped 18% after the recent hack, I don't think it goes below $1.6-$1.7. Used leverage to boost it. Again DCA-in & DCA-out orders placed. Waiting. Meteora LP: $SOL/USDC still printing around 40% APY. Mechanical. Boring. Beautiful. That's it for today. Stop trading candles. Start trading the spread. 🥂 DarkLord_gr Out.

Opportunities will always exist in crypto. In 2025, some people made a lot of money with Plasma ICO. Others with InfoFi. Others got rich by buying $HYPE or $ASTER early on. It's harder to make it now than in 2021, but I don't think you should give up.

Day 144 — War day 21. Three weeks in. No end in sight. Israel struck Iran's South Pars gasfield, the world's largest. Iran retaliated immediately, hitting Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG facility, cutting 17% of its output for potentially five years. Qatar expelled Iranian diplomats. Saudi Arabia said "the little trust that remained in Iran has been completely shattered." UAE air defenses intercepted 4 ballistic missiles and 26 drones over Dubai in a single night. An F-35 made an emergency landing after being hit by Iranian fire. Trump called NATO allies "cowards" for not helping secure the Strait. Eid al-Fitr is being celebrated across the Middle East under missile alerts. 18,000+ Iranian civilians injured. Markets: $BTC holding $70,500, Fear and Greed Index crashed to 11, lowest in months. Price holding while sentiment is in the gutter i hope this is a good sign. Morgan Stanley just filed for a spot $BTC ETF with ticker MSBT. Institutions are not leaving, they're building infrastructure. Goldman Sachs warned oil above $100 could persist all the way through 2027. That's inflationary pressure the Fed cannot ignore. Also interesting: JPMorgan noted the Iran war volatility is driving an oil trading boom on @HyperliquidX, drawing investors beyond crypto. Now my day: @boros_fi Wallet 1: $ETH on Binance patience paid and it turned green place a limit order to close, i want to be long on long expiry markets $ETH on hyperliquid funding rates dropped and remain low for days this market will expire in 6 days so i dont have a lot of time for the markets to recover holding for now. $XRP volatile but holding. $XAG Pumped at 33% with funding rates going at 142% i opened a position and placed more DCA orders higher $BRENTOIL also pumped at 12.58% while the funding rates are at 222% i am long and will hold for now @boros_fi Wallet 2: $HYPE Last bastion standing and still printing. $XRP Down $6.76, volatile but holding. LPs: $SOL/USDC still in range. Quietly earning fees. Nothing else changed. Trading Account: Broke my SOL Cross exchange funding rate arb to release some funds, i shorted OIL and longed SOL/HYPE Most people in DeFi pay for their education with bad positions. Day 140. War day 17. Trump says Iran wants a deal. Iran's FM Abbas Araghchi went on CBS and said the opposite. "We never asked for a ceasefire and we have never asked even for negotiation. We are ready to defend ourselves as long as it takes." Russia and China confirmed providing military cooperation to Iran. Pope Leo XIV called for an immediate ceasefire. 850 dead in Lebanon alone. 6 US service members killed when their KC-135 refueling plane crashed over Iraq. Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei whereabouts still unconfirmed. Trump told NBC "they're getting pretty close" to a deal. Iran told CBS there is nothing on the table. Both can't be right. I hope we deescalate soon. If not, things will get a lot worse. Markets holding. $BTC steady. March 18 big day: PPI and Core PPI, wholesale inflation data for February. January ran hot. This print matters because it gives the Fed a last-minute read on inflation before they decide. FOMC policy statement + Summary of Economic Projections + Powell press conference ,Fed expected to hold rates. But the real story is the tone. If Powell sounds confident the oil shock is temporary, markets hold. If he signals inflation is becoming persistent again, rate cut expectations get pushed further out. It's Powell's second to last meeting as Fed Chair. Now my day: @boros_fi Wallet 1: $BRENTOIL closed with profit. $XRP position increased from the morning, earning all day (opened yesterday a position to hedge my D/N strategy). Holding as long as rates stay at 10.95%. $SOL at Lighter closed with a small profit. Clean exits all around. @boros_fi Wallet 2: $HYPE still printing. $XRP position also open and earning. Both legs working. Trading Account: Oil dropped. Locked ~$100 in profits. More DCA-out orders still waiting. SL at entry. Risk-free from here. I know the numbers are small but i dont have much capital to work with a risk. LPs: $SOL/USDC only active position still in range. Quietly earning fees. Now the real news🙂. After 4.5 months of daily posting, grinding strategies, rebuilding from zero and sharing every step publicly, I just got hired as an intern at @DeFiDojo. Looking forward to working with @phtevenstrong and @marajarachar to bring more real DeFi content, yield strategies and education to this space. This is the beginning of something bigger. My aim: Lost everything twice, rebuilt once and now it's my second attempt but this time I document everything and have the support of all of you! Teaching degens how to survive the cryptoverse day by day article by article. Slow grind is the only way. Day 140 still here That's it for today. Stop trading candles. I Saved Injective's $500M. They Pay Me $50K. I like hunting bugs on @immunefi . I'm decent at it. - #1 — Attackathon | Stacks - #2 — Attackathon | Stacks II - #1 — Attackathon | XRPL Lending Protocol - 1 Critical and 1 High from bug bounties (not counting this one) Life was good. Then I found a Critical vulnerability in @injective . This vulnerability allowed any user to directly drain any account on the chain. No special permissions needed. Over $500M in on-chain assets were at risk. I reported it through Immunefi. The next day, a mainnet upgrade to fix the bug went to governance vote. The Injective team clearly understood the severity. Then — silence. For 3 months. No follow up. No technical discussion. Nothing. A few days ago, they notified me of their decision: $50K. The maximum payout for a Critical vulnerability in their bug bounty program is $500K. I disputed it. Silence again. No explanation for the reduced payout. No explanation for the 3 month ghost. No conversation at all. To be clear: the $50K has not been paid either. I've seen others share bad experiences with bug bounty payouts recently. I never thought it would happen to me. I can't force them to do the right thing. But I won't let this be forgotten. I will dedicate 10% of all my future bug bounty earnings to making sure this story stays visible — until Injective pays what I deserve. Full Technical Report: github.com/injective-wall…

Day 137 — War day 14. Iran set terms for ending it. Iranian President Pezeshkian broke cover. Three conditions to stop the war: recognition of Iran's "legitimate rights," payment of reparations, and international guarantees against future attacks. Trump's response? Silence. New Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly wounded and disfigured from yesterday's strike on the Tehran rally. 1,444 confirmed dead in Iran alone, 18,551 injured. 3.2 million displaced. A French soldier killed in Iraq. 13 US service members dead total. Oil above $100. The US just temporarily lifted Russian oil sanctions to ease supply pressure. Markets: $BTC at $73k today, up from $65.8k on Monday. Five green days in a row. PCE inflation came in cooler than expected at 2.8% and the market liked it. The $75k level is critical, options market makers are sitting on $3 billion of short gamma there. If we break it with volume, the move could accelerate fast. Accumulation signals at the $68-70k range were real. Whales were buying the dip quietly while everyone was scared. Classic. Now my day: @boros_fi Wallet 1: Calendar spread is open. Not ideal since the long duration market is shorting but I'll run it for a few days to collect some profit, then close when markets dip and funding rates compress. $XAG still printing beautifully. Opened and closed long positions on $XRP and $SOL for small profits while hunting opportunities. Keeping busy. @boros_fi Wallet 2: $XRP early entry paying off. Made $18 in a single day, sitting in green. Took some profits when rates dipped, holding 50% of the position. LP Positions: $MET came back in range and started earning fees again. $SOL/USDC still in range with 15% unrealized profit. Quietly compounding. Trading Account: DCA orders on oil filling one by one. Big buffer to the upside with plenty of DCA orders stacked. War shows no signs of ending which means oil has legs. This is a patience game. That's it for today. Stop trading candles. Start trading the spread. 🥂 DarkLord_gr Out.

Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface. Given the unusually large size of the single order, the Aave interface, like most trading interfaces, warned the user about extraordinary slippage and required confirmation via a checkbox. The user confirmed the warning on their mobile device and proceeded with the swap, accepting the high slippage, which ultimately resulted in receiving only 324 AAVE in return. The transaction could not be moved forward without the user explicitly accepting the risk through the confirmation checkbox. The CoW Swap routers functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices. However, while the user was able to proceed with the swap, the final outcome was clearly far from optimal. Events like this do occur in DeFi, but the scale of this transaction was significantly larger than what is typically seen in the space. We sympathize with the user and will try to make a contact with the user and we will return $600K in fees collected from the transaction. The key takeaway is that while DeFi should remain open and permissionless, allowing users to perform transactions freely, there are additional guardrails the industry can build to better protect users. Our team will be investigating ways to improve these safeguards going forward.

Day 135 — War day 12. It escalated again overnight. Iran launched what it called its "most intense operation" of the war, advanced ballistic missiles targeting Tel Aviv and Haifa. Three ships attacked near the Strait of Hormuz. The IEA released 400 million barrels from reserves to ease oil prices. Didn't work. Iran told mediators it won't agree to any ceasefire without a US guarantee to never attack again. Markets: $BTC holding $70k while the S&P 500 cracks. Interesting. The "digital gold" narrative is getting its real test right now and $BTC is passing it. Every dip to $65k gets bought aggressively. Institutional floor is real. US CPI dropped today in line with forecasts, no big surprise, no rate cut coming in March or April. FOMC on March 18 is the next real catalyst. Watch that date. Now my day: @boros_fi Wallet 1: $ETH position bleeding slowly. Volatile as hell. Holding for the reversal, funding rates will turn, they always do. @boros_fi Wallet 2: $HYPE funding rates flipped super negative when $HYPE pumped hard. Lost all profits and went red in 8 hours. That's the reality of this game, rates can reverse violently. DCA'd in with remaining capital to lower my average entry rate. Betting on recovery tomorrow. We'll see. $SOL Cross-Exchange Arb: Still slowly accumulating. Single-leg hedge doing its job, not perfectly, but holding. LP Positions: Everything dropped further. Only $SOL/USDC is still active and in range. Everything else is waiting for the market to move. Holding. Also pushed more updates to the tracker, totally free and fully public now, no code needed, check it out: pendle-arbitrage-monitor.vercel.app Still improving it daily. $HYPE is what people thought $ETH could be > capital asset: owners of $HYPE own a piece of fees of the world’s global trading layer > consumable asset: for every dollar paid in fees, almost the entire amount in $HYPE is burnt > storage of value: HyperEVM ecosystem provides utility for holding $HYPE, but so will portfolio/unified margin on HyperCore the main difference is, liquidity is stickier than blockspace. ETH had to compete with EVM compatible L2s and forks. projects could technically move away from ETH L1 in a single day to trade less security for more features and cheaper gas. @HyperliquidX competes with other perp DEXs, but have consistently led the industry with superior liquidity that cannot easily move to their competitors. constant innovation on new asset classes (HIP-3), market microstructures (HIP-4) kept them 2 steps ahead of everyone else. perp futures positions are non-fungible. REST API and websockets are not standardized (e.g. FIX). add in the fact that not owning $HYPE makes you contrarian and spot $HYPE will be in front of retail traders in the next cycle.. excited to see what happens disclaimer: @tread_fi and I do not own $HYPE coindesk.com/tech/2021/05/2…

The majority should read this. One of the hardest things in trading is finding the right strategy for your life. On social media everything looks fast and easy. “+15% in 3 hours.” “Bro, I just scalped the 4H and closed with this superbalistic strategy and closed a 20RR trade.” Maybe it's true, sometimes it is, but almost no one talks about the real cost behind it. We live in a world obsessed with speed. Fast results, instant gratification, quick money and LTF trading fits perfectly into that narrative. It looks like the fastest way to make money. But what is the real cost of that lifestyle? We start trading for a very simple reason: freedom. More time. More flexibility. More presence for our family, our friends, and the things that actually matter. But if we spend our days glued to charts, watching every tick, sitting in front of a screen for 7–8 hours a day… We’re not buying freedom, we're just renamed another form of slavery. And to be clear: there is nothing wrong with trading LTF, I do it too but for me, it will always remain a small part of the game. The core will always be: HTF + Swing positions + Patience. Because that approach allows me to do something more important than catching every move in the market. It allows me to live my life. Yes, it can be boring sometimes. Yes, it requires patience. Yes, sometimes the best decision is simply to wait. But that’s exactly where clarity comes from. And if you can develop that patience, if you can stay calm while others chase noise, if you can wait for the moments that truly matter…well, then trading stops being a screen you’re chained to. It becomes a tool that works for your life, not against it. The majority will never get it.
