the idea that we intentionally lead misled people is completely incorrect here We opened it to traders who did not want to KYC so that we aren't forcing people into doxxing, but then you run into issue of self-referrals and trading to meet minimum which requires manual review we could have also forced people to KYC here and then not had anyone complain because its 100% not possible to sybil it So either way we had to make a call, either award ref points instantly and create perfect game-able loops for sybils where its rational to self-refer as long as prize > cost We choose to do it after cut off and do manual reviews because it was not feasible to do it every day during the world cup We put real cash on the line for users, and came up with a innovative game when most other teams did next to nothing for the world cup, should we have capped referrals in hindsight? Of course. Could we just change the rule when we realised it would become a issue? No. Since then people inviting friends would feel rugged. This is the first time we tried to do an entire fantasy game as an incentive campaign, which objectively is a difficult undertaking and learn a lot of lessons I am sorry you dropped places due to referral points, but I want to be clear that we didn't intentionally try rug people, we paid out more money in prizes than we made : ) @surgegainz @HyperliquidEco @0xasrequired

This is really the biggest joke there is. People who were outside of the top 200 are now in the top 3. @hyperbeat was, again, insane slow to add these ref points to the leaderboard. I’m HL aligned, but I’m insane bearish on this team and I’m gonna use @Plasma card 100 out of 100 times above Hyperbeat.

Day 532: Another free chance to win up to $10,000. @Hyperbeat is giving away $50K in rewards through their free World Cup fantasy game. > Build a 15-player squad > Maximum 3 players from the same nation > Select a captain for double points The top 2,000 finishers will split the prize pool. 1st place: $10,000 2nd place: $6,000 3rd place: $4,000 It takes about 2 minutes to enter and even the person finishing 2000th still receives $25. Only 475 people have signed up so far and the World Cup starts tomorrow. Sign up here: app.hyperbeat.org/dapp/pay?ref=D…
