Mobile Suit Gundam is like Evangelion but where the makers hate war and it's too obvious.
What attracted me in Eva was the action sequences and cool robots, I don't need to be told war is problematic.
Medias are made to be escapist and driven by human childlike fantasies.

No terrible, terrible. I don’t like to publicly talk about my opinions on movies but The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is dog shit. As much as I love Jamie Foxx, I love Andrew, Andrew Garfield is a great Spider-Man. There are aspects to both of those movies that are spectacular, but that movie is a mess.

@smoney58 @dyingscribe This is where I'm at with it. Studio mandated changes are lame imo, but I can see why an artist might personally want to create many different types of characters and not limit themselves to one archetype. Diversity isn't necessary for good stories, but it's not negative either.
