Universally hated…..has any nation ever managed to make itself loathed all over the planet simply through sport. Argentina have managed that in the last 6 weeks at the World Cup. The entire planet celebrated when they lost last night. And Messi, the great god of football also took a hammering. I for one was delighted to see his tears after he tried to get Cucurella sent off for no reason and walked around the pitch like he was owed the result for 120 minutes. The GOAT my arse, Maradona was FAR better. And the Argies even managed to prove it’s not just on the football pitch because when England beat them at Rugby on Saturday they did the same thing, scuffling, fighting, surrounding the ref, behaving like spoilt toddlers, it’s clearly a national trait. Cheats and bad losers. Spain won last night, but Argentina didn’t just lost the match, they lost ALL respect from the entire world.

Mech fans, do I get this? From the trailers alone it seems to be good as far as strategy, customisation and progression. The only downside is that there seems to be next to no melee, or hardly any arms on the mechs.💀Chicken walker mechs give me the ick, unfortunately. Thoughts?

@bluestar812 @wartranslated When using missiles to counter missiles, normally you fire 2 interceptors for every incoming missile. Presumably the same logic applies to drones.

@pacific_ocean64 @FellForItAgainA If two countries sell the same item at the same price, but you put a tariff on country A’s item, country B’s item is suddenly more attractive. So to remain competitive, you’d want tariffs removed so only “normal” market competition is in play.

@FellForItAgainA I don’t get it though, if it ultimately on the US citizens, then how comes those industries and countries pretty much have to negotiate with Trump in order to remove it?

The neural queue never made sense to me. Why would animal life on Pandora evolve an open, cross-species connection that enables one organism to invade the central nervous system of another? What possible advantage does this confer? The downsides - infection pathway, loss of autonomy to predatory or parasitic organisms - are obvious. Now that we know that it's because Eywa is a planetary-scale fungal parasite it makes a lot more sense. It also points towards an obvious endgame for the series. Jake Sully and his merry band of alien bioterrorists hijack a starship and return to Earth, carrying Eywa spores. They smuggle these into the solar system and past the planetary defenses, landing on the planet to plant the seeds that will infect Earth with a new Mother. The spores take root, humans and other life forms begin to mutate as the infection takes hold, and a new Gaian Golden Age of ecological harmony takes hold as humanity is enslaved by the alien parasite, which asks only that the species give up its autonomy and renounce high technology, to be trapped for the rest of time in a state of hallucinatory primitivism. It's possible that this is the Eywa parasite's entire purpose: a biotechnological Inhibitor that infects biospheres in order to prevent technological civilization from spreading beyond its home planet, designed as a weapon by some ancient race of engineers who didn't feel like sharing the Galaxy with competitors.

KCD2 is one of the PUREST and BEST RPGs of All Time.. and it lost the RPG award to a game where the RPG elements aren’t great and didn’t even come close to a true RPG.. Bias was HEAVY at the Game Awards 😆

@relaithable EU5 would really benefit from a music player though. The volume levels are all over the place in game.

@SgtDangerCow BF6 also needs to look at its camo patterns. It’s actually hard to find one that matches the terrain :/

Battlefield 6 needs to go look at how BF1 managed immersion and graphic wow factor whilst also making soldiers visible. Right now BF6 is a bland 2 tone palette of pastels for environments and soldiers. It needs depth and contrast.
