Ich hab euch gesagt, dass die Geschichte damit nicht vorbei ist. Runde zwei läuft gerade. Und sie ist größer. Was MEXC damit zu tun hat? Alles. Die Börse hat seit Monaten eine Yield-Position auf #Aave V3 laufen. $ETH und $wBTC als Sicherheit eingezahlt, $USDC und $USDe geborgt. Der klassische Trade: Kundengeld in Krypto-Collateral, günstig Stablecoins leihen, damit anderswo Rendite machen. Läuft gut, solange die Zinsen niedrig bleiben. Dann kam Kelp. 292 Mio. USD aus der LayerZero-Bridge gedraint. Die Hacker zahlten die gestohlene $rsETH als Collateral bei #Aave und borgten 236 Mio. USD. Aave blieb auf 280 Mio. USD bad debt sitzen. Alle rannten gleichzeitig raus. Justin Sun zog 154 Mio. USD ab. Insgesamt flossen 5,4 Mrd. USD aus dem Protokoll. ETH-Utilization auf 100 Prozent. Die Stablecoin-Borrow-Rates explodierten von 3,4 auf 14 Prozent, in Stunden. Genau da ist MEXCs Position reingerutscht. 260 Mio. USD Schulden. Health Factor 1,01. Jeden Tag frisst die Position 110.000 $ an Zinsen. Alle 24 Stunden rutscht der Health Factor um 0,04 Prozent. Ohne frisches Kollateral sind das 6 bis 8 Tage. Dann zieht Aave automatisch den Stecker. Das Problem: MEXC kann nicht einfach schließen. Die Stablecoins zum Rückzahlen müssten sie aus dem leergefegten Pool holen, zu 14 Prozent. Und wenn sie das Collateral verkaufen, drücken sie die eigenen Preise. 260 Mio. USD in #Ethereum und wBTC als Sicherheit. Wenn Aave zwangsliquidiert, kommt das Zeug auf den Markt. Nicht leise. Es kommt als Kaskade. $ETH bei $2.300 ist der Spielball. Fällt Ethereum weiter, rutscht der Health Factor unter 1 und Aave löst auf. Steigt Ethereum, haben sie Luft. Aber nicht viel. FTX war eine Blackbox. Bei MEXC kannst du durchs Fenster schauen. Jeder Analyst mit einer Wallet sieht die Position in Echtzeit. Und es wird schlimmer. Separat davon sitzen noch 347 Mio. USD in $USDT auf demselben Protokoll. Die ziehen sie seit dem 19. April in Tranchen ab. Jemand bei MEXC weiß was kommt. $AAVE selbst hat am Tag des Exploits 20 Prozent verloren. Kelp ist nicht abgeschlossen. Wir sind mitten drin.

Only one of these two is constantly antagonized by the “international community” and told to go back to the way things were before. Guess which one?

@RianSweetDoris This happens especially when you are playing around with AI like Claude. You start 10 new (side) hustles at once. I stepped into this trap and found me working on 3 machines in parallel. I quit, and since then focus on one thing at a time.

@EneNoob In Zeiten von KI / AI sehe ich dad bei vielen derartigen Unternehmen.

Ich sehe nicht wie Duolingo langfristig bestehen soll. Denn das Geschäftsmodell ist jetzt nicht so Unique, dass es nicht kopiert oder von anderen ersetzt werden könnte. Auch wenn ich mein eigenes Nutzungsverhalten angucke, dann habe ich die App ein paar Wochen genutzt und irgendwann nicht mehr und deinstalliert. Bin gespannt ob Max da richtig liegt. Ich gönne es allen, dass sie viel Geld an der Börse machen.

Vibe coding is making founders dangerous. Not because the code is bad. Because they have no idea WHY it works. 25 years in software, one exit, and I've never seen more people shipping code they can't read. My approach: I build 80-90% with AI. Partners handle security and hardening. The difference between "it works" and "I know why it works" is the difference between a product and a liability. Most founders won't learn this lesson until their first outage. Don't be most founders.

Seems to be a good validation for anything vibe coded, anyhow i recommend everyone who isnt a real coder to also care about security of everything you build.
