I don’t want to be a doomer but it really seems as if all hope of living a normal and stable life is gone. Things are only going to get worse. This isn’t supposed to be a depressing outlook. It’s just my realistic expectations for the world.

Once you have kids the pretense of childless men trying to “big bro” you becomes so absurd. People who have kids have biologically different brains afterwards— (patrescense) neuroplasticity increases & your brain is fundamentally rewired. It’s like puberty— the childless man trying to talk down to a father is like a teenager talking down to an adult. It’s just ridiculous. There’s no discourse to have. There’s no way to convey what it is they lack perspective on.

Nope. This is a lack of understanding of the issue on his part. The study he references only looked at microplastics (generally >1um in size). The vast majority of what is in water is NANOplastic particles between 50nm and 500nm. When you look for these size particles you find hundreds of thousands per liter in plastic.
@bryan_johnson simply hasn't read the literature and is wrong about this.
Glass is clearly better.
