A few hours ago Square/Block announced it laid off close to 50% of its workforce because of AI. I think this could open the floodgates for other tech companies to do the same: the Overton window has shifted once one company does it, especially now that Block's stock price is up 25% after hours. Coincidentally, yesterday I wrote an article on X about the fact that my last corporate job can now be completely done by AI. That was a finance job, not a developer role. Those jobs can be replaced as well. Accounting, marketing, admin? Most of these workflows can be done by AI now. 2026 will be the year where many people finally start to realise the impact of AI. I am worried about protests, leading to riots, leading to potential civil war. The real estate market could collapse, but tech and AI stocks will likely do very well. Until the government sees no other way than to tax those stocks to pay for the unemployment, that is something that is not reflected in stock prices yet. sfgate.com/tech/article/j…

gm it’s been a wild last few days seeing everyone flip-flop their bias and rightly so because of what powell said but i am still of the opinion we get a huge dump in the next 2-3 weeks which would make you question whether the bull market is over ghost month has started + september seasonality rhymes with it and as much as you think it doesn’t matter or is a meme, this has been working for me for the past 5 years, so i am gonna be a contrarian and stick with it anything around $100k would be great to bid, which also would give us nice and juicy entries on our altcoins for the imminent altszn in Q4 if my thesis is correct, this upcoming dump would likely be a violent move to the downside, followed by a beautiful recovery to new highs excited for the next couple of weeks and as always.. goodluck, have fun and don't get liquidated
