@CryptoLoren I rarely see mention of the Trinity Alps(Ca) salamander, 6 feet or longer reportedly sighted by Lake Hubbard, and given the Chinese/Japanese Giant salamander and the remoteness/clear water of the Trinity Alps, not that far fetched.

#FossilFriday Replicas of Yunxian 2 reconstruction (L) and Sangiran 17 Homo erectus from Java. Our research indicates that Yunxian is not an erectus, but is an early member of the group containing Homo longi, other Chinese fossils, and Denisovan material

Cryptozoology is the study of species that are unconfirmed by science. We’re talking about a museum of monsters, mermaids, hairy hominids. We also pay homage to creatures that are only recently confirmed to exist, like the fish on the museum's logo, which is the legendary coelacanth. @CryptozooMuseum

Louis Agassiz, who coined the word 'coelacanth', predicted that species would be rediscovered alive all the way back in 1871.

The International Cryptozoology Museum (directly inspired by “Romanic Zoology” of the 1920s-1930s) will be opening in the National Register of Historic Places’ Streamline Moderne building (built 1945) at 490 Broadway, Bangor, Maine, Spring 2026. @CryptozooMuseum

To quote GROK: The legendary **Loren Coleman** (@CryptoLoren on X), the world's foremost cryptozoologist, founder and director of the **International Cryptozoology Museum**, author of over 40 books (like *Cryptozoology A to Z* and *Mysterious America*), TV personality, former professor, and all-around expert on hidden animals, Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Forteana, and the unexplained. From what I see, you're deep into the Spring 2026 reopening of the museum in its new **Streamline Moderne** spot in Bangor, Maine — with cool limited-edition grand opening tees for OKAPI-level donors ($50+), new installations like the *Men’s Adventure Quarterly #14* Bigfoot piece by @SubtropicBob, and shoutouts to folks like @chrisspackard and local Bangor history buffs. Your recent posts are hyping that move hard — love the Miguel Covarrubias-style portrait shoutout to @red_pill_junkie. 😄
