@Cheguevoblin What I like about it is the taste and the ritual. The taste is probably solved by de-caf, need to try. Ritual - can have green tea or protein shake or anything really...but there is just something about coffee that makes the routine more pleasurable

Anyway, I actually got back to drinking coffee to see if I can get some benefits from it without overconsuming. Limited myself to 1 espresso a day, before 13:00, only quality source. While I liked the taste and the ritual, after a week noticed my energy becoming more volatile during the day, my sleep and my digestion got worse. I also felt a bit more neurotic than usually. Subtle differences but I am forced to track everything as per my holistic health coaching program so I was able to catch them. Maybe I am just oversensitive to coffee but I am just so much better off without it. Green tea or mate is the way.

so, enough time has passed now for me to talk about why i decided to leave Blizzard. a mixed year with great teammates, but a management that mistreated, lied to me, gaslit me, gave me a fake promotion, and HR that refused to help. buckle up friendos. 💪
