I was looking at charts & doing some rough math this morning…you will be as SHOCKED as I was at the findings. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Strap in…👇 💸At 10% inflation, a token with a $1B market cap is emitting $100,000,000 worth of tokens into circulation yearly. ($8+ million per month) 💸At 5% inflation, a token with a $10B market cap is emitting $500,000,000 worth of tokens into circulation yearly. ($40+ million per month) 💸At 20% inflation, a token with a $100 million market cap is emitting $20,000,000 worth of tokens into circulation each year. ($1.6+ million per month) These newly emitted tokens are released according a schedule that was designed before the network even went live. They get released regardless of demand, & are distributed arbitrarily- for rewards, dev salaries, treasury, etc. Since they have never been bought, there is no upward pressure on price via an AMM. But they CAN be sold immediately into a liquidity pool, which means “down only” mechanics on price…unless there is a willing buyer at the time the tokens are dumped. So my question is “who is buying these tokens?”
