Remember no one is above the law except for when Hunter gets an 11 year blanket pardon. It's also in our nation's interest to sentence the president elect ten days before he takes office for a hush money case that prosecuted a crime that happened ten years ago with no victim. Apparently the president elect isn't doing anything more important like deciding how to run the country, managing the turnover of several wars, and selecting over 5,000 personnel. If you're a Democrat and you wonder why you just lost the election, you might want to start here.

Charles, this take is off base. The legal system is independent of politics—Trump’s prosecution stems from his own actions, not some Democratic strategy. Claiming it cost Democrats the election ignores broader factors like policy and turnout. Oversimplifying complex governance and judicial independence erodes trust in both.
