Judges have discretion to require lawyers and their clients to do inconvenient things but entering an order Sunday night, requiring a response by 7:30 Monday morning does pretty unreasonable under the circumstances.

Since the paid MAGA influencer losers are executing their marching orders on this Spirit story, let’s inject some reality. The Biden administration didn’t stop any Spirit mergers. The issue went to trial and a judge ruled that a Jet Blue/Spirit merger violated US antitrust laws, and would likely increase prices on consumers. The courts ruled, correctly, that the merger violated the law and would hurt Americans. The USA would have a much higher standard of living if we only had 200 million people instead of 350 million. There is not a single thing that has improved by importing 100 million people from the 3rd world and letting most of them get on welfare, food stamps and Medicaid.

Big Chief Lizzie Warren and Pete Boot-edge-edge proudly killed the Spirit/JetBlue merger, with the stated intent of maintaining consumer choice and holding down the cost of airline tickets. As a direct result, now Spirit is dead, consumers have fewer choices, prices are higher than ever and ~14,000 people are without jobs. Leftists base their actions on intent, because intent feels good emotionally. Conservatives base their actions on outcomes, because outcomes are a logical basis for decision making. Logic > emotion. We are not the same.
