Mining the Strait of Hormuz A few days ago I wrote that the only reason Iran hadn’t started mining the strait was the Chinese ships that were still coming to load oil. Then the coalition, or Israel acting alone, decided to attack Iranian territory. As a result, since Iran is no longer exporting anything by sea, they began mining the strait. This means it will likely stay closed for a long time. Iran is deploying smart mines that sit on the seabed, waiting for a ship to pass before engaging, and also floating mines. I believe they won’t use the floating ones, though, because there’s a risk they could drift out of the Strait of Hormuz into the open ocean, creating an immense danger to navigation. If I can figure this out, how come dozens of highly paid professionals whose job it is to analyze exactly this didn’t see it coming?

They would say things like “we’re only killing Hamas militants” whilst actively denying the health ministry death toll and not giving their own figures. Everyone knows the health ministry number included militants. That’s obvious af. The screenshot you sent is from the poorest ai possible when it comes to fact checking. It clear to see what the current biggest metas are but it’s crazy to me @SonicLabs can’t secure killer apps on the chain when it’s got every feature these apps need to take things to the next level. You got account abstraction, fee subsidies, FeeM, dynamic fees, native $USDC, etc all built in to build things that function like they are Web2 but are running on Web3 in the background all with sub second finality. It should be a no brainer for anyone to want to build on Sonic but the only thing holding it back is it needs that initial spark to onboard a bunch of users so builders want to build their apps here instead. The tech and infrastructure is already in place, it just needs the users to get things going.

This is nice but time is running out. They need to send out terms to sign. Points run Friday - Friday, so if points are not ended THIS Friday, personally I think it’s basically impossible for TGE before EOY. Terms will need to be for at least 2 weeks.
