American golf course architecture in the 1930s also would have been great, but USA ran out of money after Augusta National opened in 1932. Southern Hills in Tulsa's oil patch was a rare 1930s exception that actually got built.

@feelsdesperate @Cernovich I think it’s a special case in Washington DC because a Republican president deployed the National Guard. In all these other blue cities, their governed by Democrats and they can’t be outvoted.

It’s crazy how few homicides there have been this year in our nations capital, Washington DC. Major story that has been focused on less than you’d expect even from RW media. I wonder how much we’ve been discouraged into believing that tolerating social disorder and criminality all the way up to murder wasn’t a choice.

Vickrum Digwa admitted that when speaking to police on the night of the incident, “I did not mention the full truth and that I had stabbed him.” The prosecution said to Digwa: “Whilst he’s saying he can't breathe, you’re explaining that you have a swollen eye.” The jury heard Nowak’s final words before going silent: “Please brother, I can’t breathe.” Henry Nowak died at the scene. The prosecution also read evidence from a conversation Digwa had with his brother while in custody, where his brother asked him, “Why did you use the kirpan?” and he replied, “I am a fool, I am an idiot.” Fake Sikh Digwa denies all charges. Justice for Henry Nowak

@stevenmarkryan What happens when the power law kick into full gear? Like, I can jump into a Model S Plaid and smoke all the 100-meter sprint runners? You use drugs, I use a car. Both are technologies. But I finish the race in 3 seconds, and you need 9. You won’t even make it to the podium.

What's funny is everyone at the Olympics etc is JUICED TO THE GILLS as well. BUT they have to avoid detection. The key difference is the enhanced games requires no masking, hiding or tapering off sauce. This ironically means using many SAFER forms of juice instead of higher risk compounds that are either harder to detect or not YET on ban lists. Bottom line: Enhanced games athletes will likely perform better (at least marginally) AND be much safer than athletes who are trying to avoid detection by competing at tested events. AND... If anyone is naive enough to think that world-class athletes don't near universally take performance enhancing compounds (mostly for enhanced recovery btw — allowing for more intense and higher volumes of training plus enhanced recovery rather than stuff that magically makes them stronger/faster on the day which is a common misconception), allow me to burst you bubble. • Athletes are pathologically competitive people • They will do anything to win • They sacrifice time, friends, family, health, EVERYTHING in the pursuit of glory • At some point, every aspiring athlete learns every elite athlete is taking PEDs • Sometimes coaches will "spike" a young athlete's food/supplements with PEDs, only revealing this later • Athletes ALL know everyone else is on sauce, so why disadvantage themselves? • Avoiding detection of PED use is extremely easy and only through major mistakes or carelessness is anyone ever popped • In addition to masking and tapering off classic compounds to avoid detection… • ...many Athletes take far greater risks in trying to avoid detection by using novel/newer compounds (and variations of existing compounds) that are not yet on ban lists, and have far less safety data due to their newness and/or lack of widespread use • Many of these higher risk compounds are less effective than classics but avoiding detection takes priority over efficacy and safety In short, everyone is on everything anyway. So, let them sauce safely and everyone wins.
Bryan Johnson@bryan_johnson

I’m cohosting the Enhanced Games this Sunday, first time as a broadcaster. It’s the Olympics with enhancement allowed. Athletes use FDA-approved medications prescribed and supervised by doctors. Most enhancement protocols were monitored in an IRB clinical trial over the past five months. Athletes testing the frontiers of what’s possible. I’ll be speaking to the athletes’ measurements, clinical care and enhancement protocols. Reviewing their data in the role of Human Enhancement Analyst. I spent the week with the athletes and doctors. So many moving stories of courage and triumph. Tune in Sunday. It will be a great time.

I still can't get my head around this. Keir Starmer *took the knee* for George Floyd. He *spoke in parliament* about Adolescence, a fictional Netflix series. But when Henry Nowak, a young white lad, is *stabbed to death* by a Sikh man and HANDCUFFED by police while he was dying, Keir Starmer says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! The man is morally repugnant. I utterly despise him.

Konstantin, you asked a Black woman where she'd rather live than Britain or America or Canada. Let's take Britain as your example of tolerant, slavery-ending Western excellence. Britain did not end slavery voluntarily. Britain ended the Atlantic slave trade in 1807 after decades of organized abolitionist pressure, slave rebellions across the Caribbean, most consequentially Haiti in 1791, and the growing calculation that wage labor was becoming more economically efficient than chattel slavery in certain contexts. When Britain "abolished" slavery in its colonies in 1833, it paid £20 million in compensation. Not to the enslaved. To the enslavers. The people who had been worked and beaten and raped and bred like livestock for generations received nothing. Their enslavers received the equivalent of £17 billion in today's money, funded by British taxpayers. A debt so large that British citizens were still paying it off in 2015. You read that correctly. British taxpayers were paying off the debt incurred compensating slave owners until 2015. So when you ask a Black woman where she would rather live, the answer she gives, if she says Britain, is not an endorsement of British moral superiority. It is a statement about which available option causes her the least harm. Those are not the same thing. And you know the difference. You just find it more comfortable not to say it.
Konstantin Kisin@KonstantinKisin

What if the west isn't the villain they told you it was? We’ve spent years accepting accusations about racism, intolerance, and slavery without challenging the bigger historical reality: The societies most condemned today are also the ones that led the world in ending slavery, expanding rights, and building the most tolerant nations on earth. That’s the conversation nobody wants to have.

This man robbed a bank for $1, sat down and waited for the police, just to get free healthcare in prison In 2011 a man named Richard James Verone walked into a RBC Bank in Gastonia, North Carolina Handed the teller a note demanding $1 One dollar Then sat down in the lobby and waited calmly for police to arrive He was 59. No job. No insurance. A growth on his chest. Two ruptured discs. Calculated that a federal conviction would guarantee him full medical coverage inside prison The judge sentenced him to 3 years He got the surgery He got the treatment He told reporters on the way out he had no regrets A 59 year old American man robbed a bank for $1 because it was cheaper than seeing a doctor
