@Cryptomethod Reminds me of an article I was reading yesterday about human hearts. It’s not the same thing per se… but was fascinated to know that the heart has its own separate neural network, where I always thought the brain was what controlled all of our organs. The more we know eh? 🤔

The thing thats stuck in my head about this is how there’s no separate controller or microchip inside telling it what to do next. All this behavior… from the folding sequence, its gait, how it handles bumps & adapts to terrain apparently stems purely from the material properties, the crease patterns, and basic physics. No onboard decisions at all. We’re so used to assuming that smart movement needs a brain or a program to direct it. So it makes me curious about how much 'knowing' can actually live baked into a material & its shape alone if you design for it. Feels like the rediscovery of a paradigm — simpler, with fewer parts, yet still surprisingly capable. I wonder what other everyday materials might hide similar undeveloped patterns if we approach them with that same intent. Probably a huge step toward cheap, even disposable robotics for all sorts of use cases..

Researchers at MIT created a tiny origami-inspired robot that starts as a flat sheet and transforms itself into a working machine when activated by heat. Made from a heat-responsive polymer combined with rigid panels and small embedded magnets, it can self-fold into shape and then move across surfaces, swim, climb slight slopes, and handle uneven terrain, all without traditional onboard motors.

- Meet Gottfrid Svartholm - Co-founder of The Pirate Bay - A man who believed information should be free. - helped create the largest torrent site in the world - Handles millions of users - openly mocked powerful corporations - joked about moving servers to North Korea ,space ... just for fun 😭 - Servers were seized and site went down - came back in 3 days - kept changing domain constantly - treated lawsuits like free marketing 😭 - traffic actually spiked after raids - created loopholes and confused courts for years - once tried to buy a country, Sealand, a micronation, to escape copyright laws - designed server to be bulletproof - Governments from multiple countries tried to shut it down permanently but failed - inspire platforms like KickassTorrents and 1337x - became one of the most blocked websites in history yet undefeated - Even fans cloned the entire platform to keep it alive He was playing a cat-and-mouse game with the entire internet… And somehow, the mouse kept winning.

More and more folks are discovering what we have known here for over 2 decades: we are erasing our past at a rapid rate. We are the amnesia generation and we just forgot.

The Russell-McPherron effect kicks in around the vernal equinox on March 20th just as incoming CMEs arrive, which boosts chances for strong auroras over the next few days If you're in northern latitudes, keep your eyes to the north skies tonight & weekend. The new moon helps for prime viewing 👁️ 🌌

There's a big difference between seeing something profound, and becoming something profound. Walking a shamanic path can cause confusion between the two. The real thing doesn't require a re-up though -- it lasts forever.

Day 176 loading. Priced out yet another side job this morning (you just know they are all going to give me the green light at the same time too 😭) Regardless, we keep farting around here till one of them opens their wallets. Let’s take down the lightning rod and clean out the greenhouse to get ready for another fruitful cannabis season ahead. 😎 Live in 5

Day 175 loading. Feeling quite a bit better today so let’s tackle the shop door swap. I honestly have no idea what it’ll take to swap the two. I just know the other door “will fit”… If you’ve never swapped a door slab into an existing opening, then today’s stream will teach you a thing or two 😎 Live in 5 💚
