How I tell the difference between panic attacks, meltdowns and shutdowns: Panic attack: I feel like I can’t breathe, like I’m balancing in mid-air. Meltdown: I feel intense rage and energy - I *must* move my limbs. Shutdown: my mind goes blank, I feel detached, I am frozen.

@jewish_activist @shiraisinspired They didn’t commit suicide, they died by suicide. The original tweet you quoted used the appropriate language. Saying “committed” instead of “died by” suicide holds the person accountable for their action instead of the mental health issues accountable which are the real cause.
