@RoxanaDaneshjou @CrystalNorthMD is studying asymptomatic infections post vaccine at @MassGeneralNews - happy to be participating as a research subject, rather than as an investigator!

Many academic medical centers have vaccinated large numbers of healthcare workers. Some also require weekly COVID testing. Seems like we should be able to get an idea of asymptomatic infections among the vaccinated population, right?

I would love an explainer from a tweetorial guru out there (@tony_breu?? 🙃) on the relationship between hypoxemia, hypercapnia and dyspnea. There is some wacky pathophysiology going on here.

“We try to evaluate everyone in the household when we are visiting elders, and we frequently discover people with oxygen saturations of 80% or lower who did not know they were infected.” They dub this “happy hypoxemia.” This may be the most bizarre thing about a bizarre disease
