Met a guy recently. Just retired at 63. $2M saved. House paid off. Zero debt. Did everything right for 30 years. Claimed Social Security early. Started pulling $110,000 a year from his IRA. Nobody told him those two decisions would collide. 85% of his Social Security is now taxable. His bracket jumped. Tax bill his first year of retirement was bigger than when he had a paycheck. There were over 50 ICE shootings between 2015-2021. At least 50 people died in ICE detention under Obama. Obama deported over 3 million people.
