First of all, “5 air changes per hour" is actully not much. In this purification speed, it takes 40 minutes to reduce 95% areosols from the time it was released into the room. I would go for 10 air changes. Second, "recommend" doesn't work. It has to be mendotory in places like schools.

BIG NEWS: Yesterday California public health 🥑 just recommended to at least 5 air changes per hour in ALL ROOMS (occupied). Seismic. 🌎 Not just classrooms, but also evacuation centers, offices, homes, too. In agreement with CDC (May, 2023)

“Cognitive impairment is a hallmark of #LongCovid,” said Dr. Ziyad Al-Aly “Studies estimate some 20 to 30% of people who get Covid have some cognitive impairment several months later.. Research has also shown clear biological changes from the virus related to cognition”

Heartbroken after seeing a young patient with no medical history, end up with a BIFFL GRADE II dissection of the vertebral artery and subsequent acute PICA infarct immediately after a neck adjustment from the chiropractor. This has to stop. Chiropractors - you HAVE to stop.

I think this paper is a Denial Of Peer Review Attack (DOPRA). It's kind of like a DoS (denial of service) attack. There is so much data, so many methods, so much code, so many figures, so many panels, so much supplement, so much text, that it is overwhelming. 18/

@LauraMiers @followmetruck Glucometers are cheap so have one on hand in case it happens again! Collect as many data points as you can during the episode (temperature is another straightforward one that others have mentioned)

@followmetruck There are some similarities to hypoglycemic spells, which is why I saw two endocrinologists for them! Initially they diagnosed me with neuroendocrine tumors, then they said it can’t possibly be that, & I slipped through the cracks after that. Most of my 2021 doctors are gone now.

The spells/episodes started in 2021. I’ve described one here. I’ve been living like this for 3 years while all my unmasked doctors believe Covid is a cold & LongCovid is psychological. I can’t get anywhere. Oh well.
Laura Miers@LauraMiers

I had a very scary episode last night, but I think sharing it will demonstrate the challenges in getting care. I’ve had these spells on & off since having LongCovid, but never this bad. I used to call them “adrenaline surges,” but I don’t think that’s accurate. 🧵

@TaraFotiPhD This is strange and interesting (and unfortunate). I've done a lot of ketamine lit review and could share some thoughts by dm. Have you had an mri checking for brain abnormalities?

TW: trauma, SV and violent visions. I had a ketamine infusion a few months ago and felt great for two weeks. *Except* 36 hours post infusion, I had raging terror. Not anxiety. Not just PTSD. Terror. For 24 hours. I relived rapes. I saw knives and blood. I wanted to die.

I can't decide whether it's a positive or negative thing that they haven't taken this down

FACT: #COVID19 is NOT airborne. The #coronavirus is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks. To protect yourself: -keep 1m distance from others -disinfect surfaces frequently -wash/rub your 👐 -avoid touching your 👀👃👄

@MarkMooch I know that they didn’t specifically test the biopsy for active Covid as the infectionist thought an active covid infection wouldn’t be possible.. but they did test several times for CMV.

Today marks the anniversary of the day where I almost died due to #MECFS #longcovid. Yes #MECFSkills ! Prior to that I was in the worst crash ever that left me completely bedbound, bed pan dependent with the worst neurological pain I've ever experienced. (1)

@loscharlos yes the abbott ones have ghost lines which really defeats the entire purpose when you're looking for the beginning of an infection. the only case where rapid would be positive while PCR is negative is if the lab messes up. these days I think most testing facilities use robots

Ok — is this positive ? These tests are impossible. Woke up with some unusual chest pain, can’t tell if this is faint line of factory line — got a PCR, and just came back negative.
