@missmandeee_ I know it's a totally different thing in a sense, but still, it does suck when unprompted comments about your appearance blindside you in the middle of a stream and you have to regain composure without showing any signs that it had an effect on you.

@missmandeee_ This is one of the things I've really struggled with over the last few years. I used to be a bigger fella, but a few years ago, my pancreas began failing and I lost a lot of weight. "You look a lot smaller!" - well my body is shutting down so that tends to happen 😞

Someone asked me on stream if I “had lost a bunch of weight recently” because they hadn’t been around in a while. And while yes, I have been working so hard on myself over the past 18 months and am getting to a good place with feeling strong and healthy and I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved, it just makes me wonder… Is it ever okay to bring up someone’s physical appearance changes or weight-loss in a twitch chat unprompted? Is this just something we shouldn’t be commenting on? Or is it a harmless comment and not that deep? Genuinely curious what people think about this one 🤔
