Welsh Reform politician the ONLY Senedd Member to vote against a new law stopping politicians from lying. On Tuesday the Senedd passed a new bill which will make it illegal for candidates to lie during Senedd elections. The law means Welsh ministers will make it a criminal offence for future candidates to knowingly make false or misleading statements. It also establishes a recall system that will allow the public to remove a politician from office if they break the rules. Reform’s Laura Anne Jones was the only one who voted against the bill, with 50 MSs backing it. We can find no record of Ms Jones speaking during the debate, even though she was present.

Yesterday my hairdresser told me a story about her 15 year old black son. He’d travelled alone to Caerphilly to meet his girlfriend. As he was walking down the street, 2 people in a car shouted the N word at him. I can’t stop thinking about this 😢 I’m furious. How dare they 🤬
