MTG made her pivot on Israel like 9.5 months ago. Who is she coalition-building with? How is she creating real solidarity? Genuine question.

Don’t get me wrong; I’d love to see MTG move left on the class war. I just haven’t seen any concrete evidence that that’s what she’s doing.

The problem with MTG is that she shows no signs of moving left on economic policy. It makes everything she says about the working class ring incredibly hollow.

And if any part of it is not true, including @ruwaromman being misled for any reason, AOC should answer for that too. No more hiding for political expediency. We’re done with that.

This is helpful info, if true. @AOC still owes the left an apology, and I don’t care if it’s politically advantageous or not. The left movement we want should honor authenticity and humility. If you were told a lie and believed it, tell us and apologize for credulity. That’s all.

I’m begging you to learn the right lesson from the Virginia court ruling and the Supreme Court ruling weakening the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais: Stop racing to the bottom on gerrymandering. It doesn’t work. Time to actually fight for fair maps in redistricting.

On its third attempt tonight, Marblehead Town Meeting approved an “MBTA Communities–compliant” district largely centered on the 125-year-old Tedesco Country Club, meeting 3A requirements on paper while all but assuring no new housing would be built. This comment says it all.

A real anti-oligarchy, anti-Epstein class coalition will only work if it involves right-wingers who ostensibly care about those things moving left on economic issues. Anything else would be superficial, hollow, and prone to immediate collapse.

The Democratic Party does not offer harm reduction. At most, what it offers is slowing of the rate of increasing harm. And that's not good enough.

In theory, AI is taking over jobs and doing the work on its own. In practice, AI requires fewer and fewer employees who are squeezed to the limit for more and more “productivity” by training the AI, deploying the AI, monitoring the AI, bug-fixing the AI, and retraining the AI.
