Epstein was spying on me. Personally. On my work. Don’t you think it is…vaguely odd…that no one bothers to run this claim down? How confident is the USG that there is nothing there? It would have to be 99.999999%, yet I have been spot on about the Flag Tablecloth? C’mon. He infiltrated my graduate department. Look up Andrew Gleason. Look up Elliptic Curves. Etc. Do we have anyone in government with a PhD? Wake up. Look for “math.harvard.edu”. I can’t keep saying this. This is so dumb.

Why you feel less guilty about things that you don’t think you’re going to get caught for. Ever notice how guilt does bear a certain correlation with the likelihood of getting caught? Guilt, which may originally have had the simple role of prompting payment of overdue debts, could begin to serve a second function: prompting the preemptive confession of cheating that seems on the verge of discovery. — @SteveStuWill

Do any sauna nerd friends have any strong thoughts on infrared vs traditional sauna for long-term skin health/inflammation reduction etc? i.e. if you were to buy one for home, which type would you recommend? Such conflicting info out there.

@ChrisWillx Funny l was just thinking on that yesterday. That can bring the illusion you are solving more profound problems when you get broader praise that way. But an oasis is friend to everyone in the desert.

Midwit Appeal Theorem. By definition, most people are near average intelligence (i.e. midwits). Therefore, most insights don't gain prominence unless they appeal to, and can be explained by, midwits. The most influential ideas are not the most intelligent ones but the most mediocre.

If you ended up sitting next to a Nobel Prize winner or billionaire, what would you ask them? If you only had 2 to 5 minutes and they were willing to talk, how could you make the most of it?

In Braid, Anniversary Edition, we have these activatable objects that play commentary. They have icons indicating the topic. (Example, the image below is the icon for visual art commentary). Our icon for game design is not very communicative. What is an idea for an icon that immediately says to your brain, "Game Design"?

Even a single night of sleep restriction can cause acute insulin resistance but high-intensity interval training can ameliorate these effects. Further, people who slept habitually less than 6 hours a night had a decreased life expectancy compared to those who slept between 6-8 hours a night - but only in people who were NOT physically active. The bottom line is even when you are worn out and tired from lack of sleep - exercise can be a saving grace. @PeterAttiaMD explains what factors have the biggest impact on insulin sensitivity. @ChrisWillx The thing never stops needing to be done. Because after one thing, there's always another thing, then another, then another. It's things all the way down. Such is the human condition. Do the thing. Do all the things. Then die.
