@Morrisons who’s the muppet here? When shopping I didn’t count the potatoes in the 4 jacket potatoes prepacked bag - foolishly assumed I wouldn’t need to…and in opening the pack I realised we are 1 short for tonight’s dinner…it can’t be that hard to put 4 potatoes in a bag???

@UkanduC93358 @Moonlight_myths @grok My son was born with red hair - I was the most surprised as I’m a brunette and dad was a mousy brown… not aware of any red.. to then find out dad’s paternal grandmother was red - but had never known her and my great grand parent had red hair too… 2nd born was blonde!

My sister gave birth to a red-haired daughter. But she and her husband are both dark-haired. No one in our family has red hair. My sister insists that her husband's great-grandfather was red-haired, and that's how it was passed down. Her husband didn't believe her, especially since she has this one red-haired colleague at work. Anyway, he insisted on a DNA test, which they did after huge fights and screaming matches. My sister threw the paper in his face. It showed 99.9% he's the father. But he still doesn't believe it, says the test could have been faked or someone paid off the lab. He wants to do another one at a different lab, but my sister is afraid this will definitely lead them to divorce He's not even talking to my sister right now. But he says it's better to find out the truth and live with a clear conscience. He doesn't want to raise someone else's child. I believe my sister 100%, but I have to admit the situation is pretty bizarre. Does anyone know anything about genetics?

After 11pm on New Year’s Eve 13 years ago a locum GP rang our doorbell. She’d seen our 6 year old son’s blood test results and didn’t want to wait til morning. He had leukaemia with dangerous complications. I have no idea what her name is but she saved his life. Cheers to her 🥂

Excellent. AI Overview has given me a Toronto-based husband and two daughters. Next time I get huffy about something my real London-based husband and two sons have done (yesterday it was lock me out of the house for two hours in the freezing cold) I’ll be heading off to Canada.

One of those ‘I’m so proud of my kid’ posts. I know they’re awful. I’m so proud of my kid he’s got a bike delivery job. He comes home cold and drenched each night and gets up at the crack every morning. Blistered hands and sore feet like his make the world go round.

I stand here once a year and think it’s where I’d want to be if I had a breakdown. It sits snugly between a second hand bookshop, a sweetshop, a good boozer and the sea. All it needs is a tired woman with a quilt, hot water bottle and a playlist that’s predominantly Kate Bush.

Husband just did a marathon for Great Ormond St. They saw one of our sons through aggressive leukaemia & the other through complications of extreme prematurity. Legends. As is he, for doing it in 3h17 at his age. Nice to see London streets being pounded for good causes today.

@redgierob For me- a 50 something year old woman who had no sporting influences in the 70s/80s, I think it’s fabulous seeing the positive impact this has on the young people - the girls now kicking the football about isn’t unusual anymore - such an impact on mental health too
