Working on a series of B&W simple basemaps for a textbook, emphasizing topography and a key set of rivers. Designed for students to mark up and annotate.

@openstreetmap @penorman @wisemana Would love to be able render a map style map of contours only. Effectively rendering only contours as shown currently on Open Topo Map. This should be possible with vector tiles if I am correct?

@thomasforth I'm using Pocketcasts also. Is it not free or did you decide to go for the paid version? Curious what benefits the paid version would have, my version does everything I need it to.

Went for Pocketcast. Paid for it. £20 for a year. It does seem sufficiently better than the free or "donation" apps I've tried in the past to merit some money. Let's see.

This is very cool: new interactive map showing travel times to key destinations, and *combinations* of different destinations by mode. Simple yet powerful, and should be straightforward to reproduce in other places.

I genuinely love paying traffic fines. It's money that helps my community! But did I run a red light here? Should I object, or should I pay the fine with glee (because it was bad driving anyway)?

@IrishCycle Why so? It is legal and encouraged in many places.

Obviously, adults really shouldn't be cycling on the footpath, especially not in city centre locations.

A cyclist on the footpath (or sidewalk as they say) can be very dangerous...

@spatialthoughts Thanks! These are fun puzzles to think about. Another idea I had was to use a circle of radius 250 around point of intersection, extend the transect lines beyond the circle, retrieve the intersection of both as the new lines.
