Yesterday I lost the love of my life, the amazing @MaidenWatford 💔💔💔 This is where it all started for us. We found each other on twitter when we were both in a bad place. My heart is aching. I don't know how I will live without him 💔

Difficult day saying goodbye to a good friend Mat 🥲. In life he was blessed, with a lovely family many of whom spoke to today, and his fiancé Judith - his rock through persistently and increasingly difficult health issues. I do sometimes question why such troubles haunt such good people? Maybe someday I'll understand, but today I'm just too upset that the life they deserved together was way too abbreviated. Yet, the time they had, was time well spent. They personified love for each other, growing together in everything they did. Mats love for Judith was in every syllable - and for straight-talker, he gushed at the mention of her name. True love. And that love was reflected right back at him. He was a lucky sod, he knew it and he appreciated every moment he had albeit sadly too short 🥲 Selfishly, I'll miss him like hell. Our humour synced perfectly, our moods and conversations were often Waldorf and Statler like. We hated the same things (mostly) and those things we disagreed on, we ribbed each other endlessly about it. I'll miss you. I miss you already. Your friend. JC 💔
