@zachbussey This is probably true tbh. There are far more small streamers live on Twitch at any given time. Bigger streamers definitely viewbot but I don't have any trouble believing smaller streamers account for most of the volume of viewbotting.

Why don’t original posts get view credit?
A post got 8.6K views, but a repost of the video hit 17M views. Why not show those 17M on the original too? Seems unfair to creators

@Cuvington Worse they get around it by paying someone to quote tweet it so their account has no chance of being flagged. Been muting accounts that quote these pictures and my feed is much more quiet

@OpenInternetFan Are you talking about this? It’s usually a good feature because the same video can be posted by multiple accounts and the note may be specific to the video content rather than the text of the post.

Please explain: When I feedback a CN it sometimes says “do you want to apply this vote to another (say) 400 posts”.
Isn’t that really an indicator that that CN poster is a bot that needs ejecting from X?

@Alistair_McF I hate cheating as much as anyone else, but their terms make it pretty clear why and how they’re ranking severity.
In the context of a streaming platform with a broad spectrum of potential offenses, cheating doesn’t present an urgent risk to the platform or its viewers.

Fuck Twitch, seriously. Cheating shouldn't be classified as "low severity". This is the biggest middle finger to video game developers I've seen from Twitch.
Cheating undermines the integrity of all gaming communities, your community. Streamers should be held accountable for cheating, this is a small slap on the wrists.

I really hope you decide to grow up before you seriously hurt yourself or someone else.
If you don't wanna be dead/broke/incarcerated in a few years you should liquidate your wasteful assets, cut off your shitty friends that only love your money, and try to rebrand yourself as someone who has learned from their mistakes so you can start setting a good example for the people that watch your content.
