@CwasontPapy The Irony is that if it continues, it will cause actual real people to not even bother to want to make games and put in effort, which would lead to more AI being used over time.

X uses AI, but you still use it. Facebook uses AI, but you still use it. Instagram and Tiktok is flooded with AI videos, but you still use them. Caseoh plays cheap fun horror games that used AI to make and even has AI voices, but you still enjoy watching it be played. A lot of you would quickly start liking AI if all your favorite content creators said to. The game has amazing beautiful areas not made with AI to see and enjoy made by real people, but so many of you are too focused on the little bit of AI you don’t ever have to see if you don’t want to, and the parts you would end up seeing they are willing to replace with something real. I do commend yall for speaking up on the AI and being the reason they are going to change it, let’s have them change more. It is a love service game after all. But as you can see they are actually listening ( unlike the opposite for ToF) so stop attacking them.

My biggest pet peeve is when someone gives advice about audio, AND IT'S WRONG ahh With a degree in Post Production (editing) and 10 years working in the industry for tv, my advice is... Audio Mixer OBS: Voice: -5db (THE RED ZONE IS GOOD, never get to 0) Game: between -20db & -15db (Yellow) Music: between -45db & -35db (Low Green) People saying never to put audio in the red zone are flat out wrong. You want to avoid distortion, which is when it peaks at 0 and above, but your voice should be louder than the game. Hope this helps!

The game wasn’t made with a simple ChatGPT prompt like “make me a game, please.” It was created by programmers, musicians, voice actors, artists, writers, and many other staff members who have been working on it for years. If it were truly a soulless project in such a competitive industry, it simply wouldn’t stand out the way it has. We can’t deny that AI may have been used for certain types of assets that do not represent the final product, but that still doesn’t fully address the underlying issue. As for an official statement from Hotta Studio, we have already reached out and are currently waiting for a response. This may take some time, as it is currently Golden Week in China, which includes several non-working holidays. Regarding the sponsorship situation and the denial of AI use, it’s important to clarify that each department operates independently. This falls under the marketing department’s responsibility in terms of communication with influencers, and the situation was not handled with complete transparency. We are currently awaiting an official statement from the staff regarding the controversy that has emerged. The situation is delicate.
