There are many things the Senate could pass with a simple majority using the procedure known as “budget reconciliation” The SAVE America Act is *not* one of them So we need to keep debating it as we have been—until it passes

1. This is a lie 2. Read the damn bill 3. The text beginning on page 12, line 22 makes abundantly clear that what you’re saying isn’t true 4. Why can’t Senate Democrats argue against this bill without lying?

🚨TAKE A LOOK🚨 Social Security and Medicare face a $88.2 trillion shortfall in funding needed to cover full benefits over the next 75 years. Social Security is projected to collect $92.4 trillion in taxes over the next 75 years, while scheduled benefits will total $120.3 trillion. Medicare is expected to bring in $55.2 trillion from taxes and premiums, but benefits will cost $115.6 trillion. SOURCE: Open The Books

SAVE ACT: Rumor has it Leader Thune has a deal that allows Senators to go on their 14-day paid vacation. It would restore funding for the TSA in exchange for stripping out ICE enforcement funding from the DHS bill. The deal kills the Save America Act and gives states money if they implement voter ID but removes any requirement to check that voters are citizens. The good news is that their vacation has been saved.

Does the government prevent you from getting a valid ID? No. Does the government require you to have a valid ID to do basically anything? Like driving a car or traveling? Yes. So it shouldn't for something that citizenship is a requirement? Especially with millions of non-citizens here and motor voter laws in several states that issue drivers licenses to illegals and automatically register them to vote? (you have to opt out of the registration in CA). So YES having a VALID ID to vote is a no-brainer. People can take their lazy ass to the DMV with a birth certificate and SSN and get the gold star added to their ID or DL. It's that easy. Easier than walking 6 miles to vote even 😉.

Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 (the Elections Clause). Congress can make changes to elections. They have done this several times in the past. So it's not unconstitutional. It NOT a poll tax either. That's like saying i need to drive to my poll place and to do that i need to pay for a bus or buy a car so that's a poll tax! If you participate in society in any meaningful way you already have what you need to vote under the SAVE act. If you are too lazy or incompetent to get the proper identification before Nov… then you probably shouldn't be deciding the fate of any nation. The only chaos it will cause is the inability to mail in ballots for those that collect them.

@CyberSecViking @JustJenRX @RickC13Seven @BasedMikeLee I'm fine with voter ID tbh. There should be some sort of compromise that can be reached but the SAVE act isn't it. It's unconstitutional and trying to change voting rules while primaries are already being held will cause chaos

You also have to pay for them to do anything in society. Like get a job, fly, get a loan… its not a “just to vote” document. It's a document proving you are a citizen. Which happens to be a requirement to vote as well, so why wouldn't we have to prove we are legally citizens to vote?

@TehDuffman @JustJenRX @RickC13Seven @BasedMikeLee I would agree to have a provision to pay for the document needed within the save act. But it isn't a poll tax. That's is a tax to vote. This is having to get a document that literally everyone has for other various uses. So stop with that bullshit.

BOMBSHELL: Senator Mike Lee just proved Biden's FBI ILLEGALLY WIRETAPPED Trump's campaign manager, Susie Wiles, during a privileged call with her lawyer. The lawyer never consented. FBI hid the recording by marking it a "prohibited file." Lee's verdict is SIMPLE & ALARMING: this abuse DWARFS Watergate because it weaponized official government power against the leading opposition candidate. PURE ELECTION INTERFERENCE EXPOSED.🔥

I agree, but there are some areas where there is little rail infrastructure that have grown into more populated areas over the last 50 years that could use some love. If passenger trains are what get it done then use for cargo. In all about it. But the juice has to be worth the squeeze.

@CyberSecViking @LeighWolf @SlopHq But the existing freight rail, airplane, and freeway system already efficiently move people and cargo. Passenger trains, even with cargo capacity are simply an 🫰 redundancy. Keep trains intra city (like NY subway and Bart)

a freeway costs $50-200 million per mile to build and we don't ask it to turn a profit. a train line proposes the same price tag and suddenly it needs to be self-funding by 2031. the infrastructure we subsidize reveals what we value and we have chosen the car every single time

Here is a list of 11 States and D.C. reported to have more registered voters than citizens of voting-age in 2024: -Alaska (Lisa Murkowski won’t vote for SAVE Act) -Colorado (sanctuary state) -Delaware (sanctuary state) -D.C. (sanctuary state) -Georgia (swing state, sanctuary cities) -Kentucky (Mitch McConnell won’t vote for SAVE Act) -Maryland (sanctuary state) -Massachusetts (sanctuary state) -Michigan (swing state, state not listed as sanctuary but many large cities in it are sanctuary cities) -Nevada (swing state, sanctuary state) -New Jersey (sanctuary state) -South Dakota (John Thune won’t vote for SAVE Act) Notice a pattern!

@Jake2jaak @LeighWolf @SlopHq I would also argue that rail infrastructure can be used for both and is used for both. NOW the CA train bullshit that costs billions for nothing.... no.... that shit don't fly.

@EricLDaugh Does anyone else find it oddly strange that wherever ICE goes... ...traffic literally disappears??? This makes me think we have WAY more illegal aliens in the country than any of us possibly could imagine.

When TSA has been tested, it has failed to stop up to 80 percent of weapons smuggled through security. TSA to this day has never actually prevented a terrorist attack. There is not a single documented case of a terror plot foiled by TSA. On top of that, TSA was formed in response to 9-11, but 9-11 was not a failure of airport security. Airport security had basically nothing to do with it. So while this stand off over TSA funding continues, keep in mind that the agency shouldn't exist and is historically terrible at its job. We should privatize airport security again. Then it can't be used as a bargaining chip by politicians.

During Passover of March 1475 in Italy, a Two-year-old Christian toddler named Simeon went missing from his home, His body was discovered “beneath the house of Samuel” a Talmudist. The physicians who examined his body concluded Simeon had been systematically exsanguinated— drained of his blood. 15 to 23 talmudists were arrested and several confessed to the same crime: They abducted the child, and tortured him by piercing his body to collect blood in a basin, holding him in a cross-like pose, and killing him, and then disposing of his body. 15 of the perpetrators were burned at the stake; the rest died in prison. Members of the synagogue were all forced to convert to Christianity. The synagogue was destroyed and chapel was built over the site. Nearly 500 years later, Vatican II, which was trying to heal relations between the Christians and the Jews, decided the toddler’s martyrdom might be seen as “blood libel” and “collective guilt”, and that the prince-bishop who launched the investigation, could have just been antisemitic, so they removed little Simeon from the liturgical calendar and Roman mardyrology. Veneration, processions and relics and masses in his name were all forbidden. The archbishop at the time proclaimed the convicted Jews to be innocent of the heinous murder. Little Simeon, “ Simon the immaculate” was essentially erased from the church. Since this was one of many decisions declared by Vatican II and not a divine revelation by God, traditional Catholics still honor the feast day of Saint Simeon of Trent, which is today. The artist who painted little Simeon’s martyrdom was arrested for antisemitism in 2020, but fully acquitted.

L'Église fête aujourd'hui le martyre de Saint Siméon de Trente assassiné par des talmudistes en 1475. Sans surprise, la secte conciliaire le retira du martyrologe romain en 1965, vers la fin de Vatican d'Eux.
