I just confronted a woman at this “Free Palestine” stand. I told her they’ve got their ceasefire and asked why they’re still handing out propaganda. She said to me “The Palestinians are dying” - I asked her if she’d seen the videos of Hamas executing Palestinians. She told me she wasn’t even aware of any videos. Her colleague then called her over and told her not to engage with me.
If you’re at a street stand, you’ve got to be prepared to defend your cause. It’s clear she didn’t even know what she was doing, she was just another robot in the propaganda wheel.

@graceelizh Israel still does not let the Palestinian refugee families return to the homes from which they were expelled. Israel continues to kill, despite the "ceasefire." Let's seek peace, justice & security for all. That's something we can all agree on. Best wishes!!

I’m confused, I look at the major U.S. media sites and I’m not seeing coverage of this near the top of the page. I looked at CNN, CBS, NBC; am I missing something? Reports say numerous communities devastated, airlifts, etc.
What’s the reason for not having reporters there or taking reports from local affiliates?

The remnants of Typhoon Halong have devastated western Alaska, destroying homes and displacing residents in communities including Kipnuk, Bethel, and Nome. Rescue efforts continue, with Red Cross @RedCrossAK volunteers assisting those affected.

I love how these bots just spew these garbage talking points. Everything they’re saying is the exact point that pro Palestinians are making. The Geneva Conventions were put in place so that atrocities like this could never happen again. We’re supposed to learn from history not repeat it.

2200 American service members were killed at Pearl Harbor and we went on to kill 3.5 million Japanese people during war. 2,800 Americans were killed on 9/11 and we killed over 400,000 in Afghanistan during war. Hamas killed 1200 Israelis and kept hostages for two years and Israel kills 58,000 people over the course of a two year war and a bunch of crazy people run around screaming genocide. And I’m using the numbers reported by a terrorist organization who just executed 52 people in the streets. Why a double standard for Israel? Oh that’s right, it’s the Jews.

With the ceasefire in effect, the people of Gaza & Israel are beginning to glimpse the fragile hope of calm after months of devastation.
The @UN & partners are rapidly scaling up operations, reaching communities in areas that were cut off for months, delivering life-saving assistance.
But the needs remain vast, and sustained access & funding are critical.
I call on all to consolidate the ceasefire & transform it into lasting peace.
