He an activist musician, a humanist, & a politician from East Africa. At just 44, Bobi Wine leads the National Unity Platform (NUP), a political party in Uganda opposed to Yoweri Museveni's government. Go to Uganda & see what he is doing for his people. At such a young age, he rallies the entire Uganda to himself. He improves the living conditions for poor & vulnerable Ugandans. He donated his personal money to build pit latrines & construct a drainage channel in Kampala slum. He denotes to malaria campaigns in Nakasongola Health Centre, he references the disease in his songs as well. Bobi Wine is invested in education & citizens engagement in his East Africa Region. He is an ambassador for “Save the Children's EVERY ONE campaign.” He uses his music to create Maternal & Child Health awareness. Wine & his wife Barbara travelled to hospitals throughout Uganda, including Nakaseke Hospital, meeting with midwives & health workers to popularize the campaign. “Save the Children” also took him to other regions for the campaign, including Nyumanzi Refugee Settlement in northwestern Uganda for displaced South Sudanese people. Bobi is currently the Patron of a girls & teen mother’s empowerment Non-Government Organization called the Caring Hearts Uganda, founded by his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi. He was scheduled to perform a show in Dubai on 8 October 2022, & the proceeds were going to be used to repatriate Ugandans stranded in the United Arab Emirates. However, upon his arrival in Dubai, the show was canceled by the government of UAE on unknown grounds. He was detained at the airport for ten hours before he was released. Bobi Wine has paid his dues, & he paid in full. He has been blinded & brutalized by Ugandan police & the military. His songs have been banned or censored by the authorities in Uganda. He has been with Ugandans fighting the Yoweri-led government. He was a former member of parliament, Bobi Wine actually started somewhere. At 55, Sowore is still a confused noisemaker. Have you ever wondered why Nigerians are carefully avoiding the ‘controlled opposition?’
