I don’t live anywhere near Norfolk Co. Massachusetts but I am disgusted that’s no less than 5 cases that are ongoing right now have not received discovery from the commonwealth FOR YEARS!!!!! One up to almost 4 years now. This is on the coat tails of the #KarenReadTrial where the CW withheld and imo tampered with evidence that the defendant didn’t get until trial!! The DA and Commonwealth need to finally be held accountable for not providing discovery to defendants that they are entitled to per our constitution!!!! The jury has spoken, and we remain respectful of the process. However, since the beginning of this trial there have been numerous attacks and accusations against our Troopers and Sergeants. Careers have been lost, families have been devastated, and many lives have been changed forever. As our current and former members continue to be the subjects of baseless accusations, it is important to remember that the investigation into the death of John O’Keefe has been investigated with great scrutiny by both members of the State Police Internal Affairs and the FBI. To date, there has yet to be any information that this investigation was compromised in any way. We remain steadfast in our commitment to represent the men and women of the State Police Association and are forever grateful for the work our members do every day to serve the citizens of the Commonwealth.

It’s been 196 days since Massachusetts voters passed a ballot measure by 72% to audit the legislators. Legislators have called it unconstitutional, refused @massauditor access and @MassAGO has refused to act.

Genuine question, does anyone know the full scope of the audit? I have nicely replied to Diana a couple of times on here asking her to explain the goals as I wasn't sure if I was misunderstanding the scope of the audit and she blocked me. I am not arguing that it wasn't voted for overwhelmingly and should't happen but I am under the impression that it isn't auditing financials or major legislative activity and I can not seem to get a response. In fact, I got blocked for respectfully asking the question. So much for the "people's auditor".

I asked the auditor, very nicely and, for some details on the scope of the audit and she decided to block me on this platform. I'm astonished that "the people's auditor" would rather block non-combative questions about what she's talking about daily on this platform than answer them. Apparently, you only get to listen to what she has to say and never ask questions, quintessential MA politician. Do what I say and ask no questions.

I know I’m the youngest & that sending staff out to publicly shoo me away, somehow feels acceptable. But, dismissive comments like this aren’t shooing me away, they’re shooing away the 72% of voters that your office is ignoring. At least say, “lawmakers must follow the audit law”and give the people some hope #mapoli…it doesn’t take a “process” to say the law must be followed.
