Regrettably, I had supported and defended him when he was having trouble with his university. I invited him on my show (twice if memory serves me right), and he invited me once on his. We had a very warm relationship and then I found out about his problematic positions, which were originally couched as anti-Israel, but as the captured posts show, are rooted in a deep animus of Jews.

He has since deleted these tweets, which is good, but I think they’re worth calling attention to because there is an undercurrent of antisemitism affecting many in the libertarian movement. Of course there are many good-faith critiques of Israel’s prosecution of the war in Gaza that have nothing to do with ethnicity or religion. These clearly crossed the line into open antisemitism. I condemn these statements.
