I’m done skimming the surface 🏊‍♀️. Time to go deeper. I’ve been selected for Rust School 🦀 Cohort 01 by @_HerDAO — joining the first wave of builders stepping into systems-level thinking. In Web3 and emerging tech, Rust isn’t optional anymore. It’s where performance, security, and real infrastructure come together. And if you want to build things that last, you can’t avoid understanding what’s happening under the hood. Starting May 5, I’m committing to an 8-week deep dive into how systems actually work. What I’m stepping into: → Understanding memory & ownership — writing code that’s safe by design, not patched later → Thinking in systems — structuring data, transactions, and logic that scale → Building with traits & abstractions — not just code that works, but code that adapts → Learning async patterns — because real-world systems don’t run in a straight line This isn’t about just “learning Rust.” It’s about rewiring how I think about building — from quick fixes to solid foundations. The process will be messy: learn, build, break things, fix them, repeat. Grateful to @_HerDAO, @Onallee, and @Hari_priyoo for putting together something this intentional. Six weeks ago, the women of @shefiorg season 16 opened their laptops not knowing what a wallet was. Last Thursday, they closed them with a funded hardware wallet, a first swap, a staked position, a pass through the metaverse, and AI running in their actual workflow. In six weeks. Nobody asked their permission. Nobody handed them a credential that said now you're allowed. They decided they were. The collage below is faces from every week. Women from every continent deciding this was theirs too, who say yes to showing up, and give themselves permission to be at the frontier. That's the whole thing. You can have whatever you want. But first you have to name it. They named it.

What six years of building SheFi looks like: - Six years of running 16 cohorts - Six years of never missing a class - Six years of hosting summits in Paris, Istanbul, Singapore, Brussels, Denver, Bangkok - Six years of posting on the internet every single day - Six years of meeting women in cities I'd never been to - Six years of failing publicly - Six years of trying again - Six years of learning what clicks only by getting it wrong first - Six years of doing the unglamorous parts every day - Six years of working with the best names in crypto - Six years of believing in women - Six years of sisterhood - Six years of community The first six taught me how to do this.
