Huge thanks to @briimhd, @ibrahim_sekinah, and team for the incredible work they’re doing to build a strong pipeline of female Bitcoin open-source developers.🧡 We’re looking forward to the next two weeks, the conversations, the learnings, and seeing the ecosystem continue to grow.

I also spoke extensively about Evento and guided participants through creating their own Evento wallets. This experience was incredibly fulfilling. I’m genuinely grateful to Evento for making it possible for me to contribute to building knowledge and empowering young minds.

20 women in Kaduna, Nigeria. Zero Bitcoin experience. Two weeks. Result? 8 open source Bitcoin projects shipped — and most of those women are now pursuing careers in Bitcoin. That's @briimhd's @hack4_freedom. This year, she's expanding to Lagos, Nairobi, Porto, Belo Horizonte, and São Paulo — with a goal of training 100 new female Bitcoin devs. "I can't build a solution for a woman in Nigeria because I don't know what that experience is like. But I can empower those women to build the solutions for themselves." This episode is not one to miss. 🎧
