The UN is being called upon to restrain Iran from blowing up vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This wouldn’t have happened if the same UN had successfully restrained the US and Israel from attacking Iran. Strange turn of events here…

There has been a lot of discussion and concern about the travel advisory issued by the United States of America regarding Uganda. The reason for the travel advisory on Uganda is due to the Ebola epidemic in the Ituri region in DRC. A question was raised why not apply similar restrictions on other countries neighboring DRC, the answer is Geography , Ituri province the epicenter of Ebola is near Uganda, compared to other provinces in DRC where there no reported Ebola cases . We continue to engage the US government in a corroborative approach to address the situation and create conditions for revising the travel advisories on Uganda. The travel advisories continue to affect our economy in many ways, a balance has to be struck between public health concerns and continued economic activities without disruptions.
