Went from "V8 exploitation seems unachievable" to solving all 9 @pwncollege V8 challenges. Wrote a guide on getting into browser exploitation if you already have classic pwn knowledge. varik.dev/blog/v8/gettin…

🚀 Lantern now supports LLM calls in Postgres! Run adhoc queries: SELECT llm_completion('Summarize code', code) FROM files LIMIT 1; Or automate column generation: SELECT add_completion_job('files', 'code', 'summary', 'Summarize code'); lantern.dev/blog/llm-compl…

we went to an @OpenAI x @ycombinator hackathon this week! @ngalstyan4 and i built an app to iteratively build postgres extensions - it generated a median aggregate function extension successfully :)

We built external indexing for pgvector in Postgres. External indexing offloads the resource-intensive index creation process to external machines to reduce the impact on database performance. Read the blog post from @D4RK7ET below 👇 lantern.dev/blog/pgvector-…

I built a site to browse the Postgres mailing list archives. It supports search using FTS from Postgres + vector search with the Lantern extension. I've been using it for testing but cleaned it up a bit to share 🙂 pg.lantern.dev

We respond to Pinecone's recent blog post comparing Postgres and Pinecone. We show that Postgres can outperform Pinecone in the same benchmarks Pinecone covered in their article. lantern.dev/blog/postgres-…

From hackathon to working implementation! Check out our blog post on how we managed to deal with the challenges of making dynamically loadable extensions to work inside Postgres in the browser (wasm) and found a compiler bug in emscripten during the process 🚀
Lantern@lanterndb

At a recent @agihouse_org hackathon, we built support for dynamically loading extensions in Postgres in the browser. 🚀 Here’s a quick demo video showcasing vector search, geospatial search, and encryption using Postgres extensions in the browser. (1/2)

Narek Galstyan (@diqitally), Varik Matevosyan built an extension to @lanterndb, to perform postgres vector search in the browser. Letting anyone build and ship applications on top of LLMs and vector DBs - making trying a back-end as easy as trying a front-end
