महाराष्ट्र प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष श्री. सिद्धेश कदम यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली मंडळाच्या कार्यालयात हवा प्रदूषणावर नियंत्रण मिळवण्यासाठी 'ETS' (Emission Trading Scheme) बाबत एक महत्त्वाची आढावा बैठक झाली. या बैठकीत श्री. सिद्धेश कदम यांनी मंडळाचे निवृत्त सहसंचालक डॉ. विद्यानंद मोटघारे (APC) यांच्याशी 'ETS' प्रणालीच्या प्रभावी अंमलबजावणीबाबत सविस्तर चर्चा केली. यावेळी शिकागो विद्यापीठाच्या प्रतिनिधींनी 'AI-based environment compliance prediction' (कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेवर आधारित पर्यावरणीय अनुपालन अंदाज) बाबत सादरीकरण केले. तंत्रज्ञानाच्या मदतीने प्रदूषण नियंत्रणाचे अचूक नियोजन कसे करता येईल, यावर यावेळी भर देण्यात आला. या बैठकीला महाराष्ट्र प्रदूषण नियंत्रण मंडळाचे संबंधित वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते. ______ Shri Siddhesh Kadam, Chairman of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, chaired a high-level review meeting at the Board's headquarters today to discuss the implementation of the 'Emission Trading Scheme' (ETS) for effective air pollution control. During the meeting, Shri Siddhesh Kadam held in depth discussions with Dr. Vidyanand Motghare (Retired Joint Director, APC, MPCB) regarding the technical roadmap and the effective execution of the ETS framework. A key highlight of the session was a specialized presentation by representatives from the University of Chicago on 'AI-based Environment Compliance Prediction.' The presentation emphasized how Artificial Intelligence and cutting-edge technology can ensure precise planning and monitoring for pollution control.
